Last Chapter Recap:

Thor remained quiet. He kept looking down. It's upsetting seeing Thor like this. Normally he'll be happy and cheerful. Not today. Looks like he's going to be in that mood. Which I don't mind. I'm always here to be there for him. To pick up what Loki destroyed....

"You guys done," Clarice asked.

I looked up at her. Thor only glanced.

"Done what," I ask.

"Having an intimate moment."

"It wasn't intimate. More help in need," Thor says.

"Besides you guys know where we stand on feelings. We shouldn't be having intimate moments," I say.

No one says anything. Now it's awkward. Clint walks into the room. He walks over to the room. From his body language he can feel the awkwardness.

"What's up Clint," Tony asked.

"Fury needs you guys in the meeting room," Clint says.

"We'll be there."

Clint walked out. Everyone just stared at each other. I looked back at Thor before slowly rising. Thor looked at me from my sudden movements.

"Well we can't keep Fury waiting all day," I say.

I throw away my food before walking out. Everyone watched me. I left because I needed to get out of there. It was too damn awkward. It didn't feel right being in there.

"Araceli, wait," Thor called.

I turned around. He's walking up to me. Everyone else is leaving the table in the cafeteria. I wait for Thor to catch up. I get ready to speak, but was stopped. Thor hugged me. That's random. I slowly hugged him back.

"Thank you," Thor whispered.

"For," I whispered back.

"For doing what you do. You always know when to be there."

"I've known you long enough to know when I need to cheer you up. I can tell you needed it today."

"Yeah...."

We remain quiet.

"Who's going to be late now," Tony teased.

Thor and I looked at him. He's walking by us.

"You, if I beat you there," I tease you back.

"Of course you will," Tony teases back.

"Of course."

He kept walking. I looked back at Thor. He's staring at me.

"Are you ok," I ask.

"I'll be fine," Thor mumbled.

"You sure?"

"I'm sure."

"Well, let's go."

"Ok."

We release each other. Thor walked by my side. He had his arm wrapped around me. I did the same in return. We were the last one to reach the meeting room. I walk in and sat by Clint. Thor's on my side.

"Oh, so you decided to join us," Tony teases.

He's across from me. I got serious now.

"My friends are more important than some meeting," I spit.
