Last Chapter Recap:

"I know what it's like to lose Loki," Araceli whispers before walking out.

The others exchange looks. I stare at door. I guess now is the time to tell them.

"What's wrong with Araceli," Fandral asked.

"Loki's affected her," I say.

"How so," Hogun asks.

I take in a deep breathe. The others wait patiently.

"They love each other," I say.

That stung coming out. I've already accepted it. It hurts admitting it.

"Are they in love," Volstagg asks.

"Yes," I say.

"When did they start a relationship," Sif asked.

"During the extent of preparing for the battle. Please for the sake of Araceli don't mention Loki. It affects her, as you witnessed earlier," I say.

"What about you, old friend? How have you dealt with it," Hogun asks.

"I've accepted it. It hurt saying it though," I say.

"Why," Volstagg asks.

They don't know about me loving Araceli. They just warned that I'd love her. Their about to find out.

"I love Araceli," I say.

Their faces held shock. They must not had expected to be right.

"You what," Sif asked.

------------------

"I love Araceli," I repeat.

"When did figure out you loved her," Fandral asked.

"A while ago. I missed her. Seeing her again made me remember how much I love her," I say.

"Does she know," Volstagg asked.

"Yes. I told her before we went into battle."

"How did she take it," Sif asked.

What was her expression? I recall that day. Araceli was surprised. Why wouldn't she be? That's not something you hear from your best friend everyday, and mean it. She looked nervous aswell. Probably because we were close to the battle site.

"She was surprised when I told her. I mean best friends don't say that to each other unless they're joking or actually love one another. Araceli knew I meant that I was in love with her. Not just best friend love," I say.

"So, you love Araceli? But, she loves Loki. Who loves her in return," Fandral asked.

"Yes. Araceli and Loki love each other. While I love Araceli. For a while I thought I could win over Araceli. Sometime over the past year it dawned on me that I didn't want to do that. If I took Araceli from Loki, he'd be upset with me. He'd also be hurt. I didn't want to make him upset with me, and in pain from losing Araceli."

"Doesn't that hurt you," Sif asked.

"Somewhat. I'll be happy knowing Araceli's happy."

"You're a good guy Thor," Volstagg says.

"Thank you. I'll be back. I'm going to check on Araceli."

I stood and stretched. That felt good. I opened the door and walk out. Araceli is sitting with Slater and Ramirez. They all stare at me.
