"Mama?" Moomin's voice ran through the quiet kitchen while Moominmama stood near the stove cooking. "Yes dear?" Moominmama called back, looking over to her son as he walked next to her.

"Do you love me?" "Well of course." "Would you love no matter what?" Moominmama raises an eyebrow, putting the top on a pot before wiping her hands off on the apron that was tied around her waist.

"Don't tell me you murdered someone!" Moominmama exclaimed, although her voice was calmer than it probably should've been. "Murdered— What no!!" Moomin answered back quickly. "Why would I murder someone!?" Moomin continued, his eyes going wide.

"Holy- Do I look like I'd kill someone!?" Moomin asked worried and Moominmama just turned around and started cutting carrots.

"Of course not, dear." Moominmama said back in her normal tone. Moomin looked worried at his mom for a second before shaking the thought away.

"No, I was just gonna asked if you would love me if I liked boys." Moomin blurted out, still confused on how his mother came to that conclusion. "Of course I would, dear." She said calmly, dumping the chopped carrots into the pot.

"Ok.. well... imma go outside then." Moomin said, turning around and starting to walk out. "Tell My and Snufkin that dinners soon." Moominmama yelled to her son. "Ok mama!"

It didn't take long for Moomin to find Little My seeing as she was sitting on the railing of the bridge. Moomin slowly walked closer to My, not in any type of rush.

She was looking down into the water, deeply concentrated on it. Moomin stopped beside her and looked down into the river to try and see what she was looking at.

There was nothing unusual in the water. It was honestly really boring in the water. You could barely see any movement at all in it.

"Mama said dinner will be ready soon." Moomin said, still trying to figure out what had My so interested in the water.

My nodded and squinted a little, looking even harder in the water. "What are you looking at?" Moomin asked, giving up on trying to find anything.

"I wonder how easy it'd be to drown someone in that water." My mumbled. "And with that I'll just leave." Moomin said, quickly walking away from the girl on the bridge.

My rolled her eyes as she watched Moomin walk away, heading to Snufkin's tent. 'Damn, i didn't think it'd be that easy to get him to leave me alone.' My thought

Moomin stopped in front Snufkin's tent and tried to tell if Snuf was in there, even though it'd be really hard to tell without talking. "Snuf, are you in there??" Moomin called out, hearing shuffling from in the tent but nothing called back.

"Snufkin??" Moomin called out again, soon the tent zipped open slightly and Snufkin's head popped out. "Did you say—" Snufkin grunted slightly, clearly uncomfortable.

"Need me?" Snufkin asked, and Moomin looked worried at him. "What's wrong?" Moomin asked, worry lacing his voice. "Oh, don't worry I'm just getting some cramps." Snufkin said, unzipping his tent all the way.

"Cramps? Like stomach cramps?" Moomin asked and Snufkin just nodded, crawling out of the tent to stand and stretch. "I'm sure mama has something that could help with it!" Moomin smiled sweetly, grasping one of Snufkin's hands into his own.

Snufkin couldn't help but smile a little feeling the warmth of Moomin's hand on his own, his cheeks turning a slight pink. The brown eyed boy squeezed Moomin's hand a little, blushing to himself a bit more.

"I can bring you something so you won't get a cramp while walking!" Moomin said confidently. It was kinda like Moomin knew what time it was for Snufkin.

Snufkin's face dropped a little, wondering if Moomin really did know or if he just seemed to say all the things that made Snufkin think he knew.

Snufkin nodded, hesitatingly taking his hand away from Moomin's. Moomin's face seemed to drop a small bit but it was quickly covered back up. "Ok! I'll be right back!" Moomin said with an overly big smile, running back to his house.

It really didn't take long for Moomin to be back at Snufkin's tent with a small cup in his hand. Moomin crawled into Snufkin's tent seeing as the owner was back inside of it.

"Here, mama said this should help!" Moomin said happily, sitting in front of Snufkin. Snufkin took the cup and drank whatever was in it before smiling and setting the cup next to him.

"Thank you Moomin." Snufkin said, his voice sweeter then normal. Moomim smiled in response, before thinking of what to talk about.

A few hours or so went by and the two were talking more then anyone could believe. Moomin has been scooting closer to play the random games they were thinking of and playing.

"Shouldn't you go home to eat?" Snufkin asked, he didn't want to keep Moomin if he should be somewhere else. Especially if it's something that could put a value of health on the line.

"Oh no, I brought food for both of us cause I didn't know if you'd eaten yet!" Moomin said, pulling out a small basket Snufkin didn't even realize he had. "Oh, well thank you." Snufkin smiled as Moomin gave him some soup. Moomin then handed Snufkin a spoon and the two ate while continuing to talk.

Snufkin laid back onto his sleeping bag, just laying there for a minute or so. Moomin flopped down beside him, sighing and turning into his side to face Snufkin.

"It's getting late, aren't you gonna go home?" Snufkin asked. The sky outside was dark and the only thing that lit the sky were fireflies and the moon.

"Eh, I'll go at some point, probably." Moomin shrugged and Snufkin rolled his eyes, smiling at the other.

Snufkin tried to roll around, but couldn't find himself able to move. He opened his eyes and looked around confused, soon being able to flip himself onto his back to see someone next to him with a mop or white grey-ish hair.

Snufkin felt his face flush red as he realized who he was cuddling up against. After a minute of being flustered he allowed himself to smile.

It made his heart flutter in a weird way being so close to Moomin, he couldn't help but smile a grin being so close to his 'friend'.
