*Kira's POV*
I woke up on the ground and looked around. The first thing I noticed was the dead bodies of the village. I did not see anybody around. I could see everything more clearly. I noticed I had new clothing on. They were dark and looked expensive. All of my body was covered. I had a cloak on too. I had black boots on too.
The man that saved us was nowhere to be seen. Then in the corner of my eye, I saw them. Jane and Alec. Their bodies lay lifeless. I felt like crying but I couldn't. Then I felt a burning sensation in my throat. I was thirsty.
I saw blood and I was drawn to it. One of my maids were still alive. She was injured and scared. When she saw me, she sighed in relief.
"Miss Kira, I am glad to see you, " she spoke.
She asked me a question.
"Why are your eyes red and not blue?"
I didn't reply and I just lunged at her. I drank her blood until there was none left.

When I saw Jane and Alec's lifeless bodies, I couldn't stay. It was hard for me to see my favourite people dead whereas I am still alive.
So I ran.
