Longing hearts that are not fated to meet
Since then, they are playing hide and seek
When one shines in its brightest,
the other hides on the eerie darkness
.
Once upon a time...
when the universe collide,
the sun fell deeply inlove
with someone it can never have
.
Once upon a time...
the moon is a damsel in distress,
waitin' for someone who could be the light to its sorrow,
then the sun came and bring back the bright tomorrow
.
On one bright day,
they decided to face each other
In front of the sun,
the moon showed up and at last,
they were together
.
But people panicked as the eclipse happened
They then uttered their prayers that as if it's the end of all
The sun and the moon then realized
that no matter how much they love each other,
they are not meant to be together
.
When the sun shows up,
the moon hides behind
When it's time for the moon to illuminate the night,
the sun needs to turn its back
.
The sun selflessly loves the moon
that expecting something in return is a NO..NO..
Whenever the darkness caught the sky,
the sun sheds light at the moon from a distance
.
An unlikely fairytale,
hindered by the law of the universe
It's as if YOU and I against the world
A love story in the making but ended up breaking
.
Maybe the sun is destined for the morning sky
Maybe the moon is for star at the night sky
Maybe they don't belong to one another,
because being FRIENDS is way better than being LOVERS.
