Josh looked at the theater door as he patiently waited on news of Maya and the baby.
Maya had started to feel some cramping which wasn't normal at just 29 weeks.
She was just two weeks in her third trimester meaning that the baby would for sure be too early if he was born at that moment of his life but his parents hoped and prayed nothing bad would happen.
The doctor came out and Josh could immediately see something had happened.
"She gave birth. She and baby are okay. He is in a incubator but stable," he said and Josh exhaled.
"Is Maya okay?" Josh asked and he nod.
"You can go and see her," he said as Josh went into a ward seeing his girlfriend laying in a bed.
"You did amazing," Josh said as he gave Maya a kiss on her forehead.
"Is he okay?" Maya asked and Josh could see she was very weak.
"He's fine. He's stable. So are you. Just take a breathe and get some rest," Josh said.
27 April 2017 was a scary but the best day of both their lives.
Their son was born and both he and Maya was okay.
