Chapter 28 the worst day

Emma Pov

I was lost in my thoughts when I see the light flickering in the hallway. I slowly walk and looked down to see blood on the floor.

I slowly looked up to see Will standing there holding a heart in his hand

I gasp

"What do you want?" I asked he showed me the heart

"I don't understand?" I asked

He squeezes it and starts chasing me. I start running  when someone grabs me

I scream

"Emma! it's me!" Familiar voice said

I opened my to see Kieran holding me in his arms

"It's me. It's Kieran" Kieran said looked at me worried.

I panting

"Let's gets out of here," Kieran said.

I nodded

We headed outside

"You might want to sit. You're making police officer nervous" Kieran said

I looked over at the police officer giving me a nervous look.

"Yeah maybe you are right," I said taking a seat with Kieran.

"Should I ask what made you so scared in there?" Kieran asked

"No, you shouldn't," I said glaring at him.

"Okay, you feel any better?" Kieran asked

"Other than constant fear, I don't really feel much of anything" I replied looking away from him.

"That's self-preservation," Kieran said.

I sigh "well it feels wrong".

"When my mom died, I felt numb I knew I was supposed to cry, but I couldn't there's no right way to feel about this you just gotta do whatever works for you and I want to help," Kieran said grabbed my hand.

I quickly pulled my hand away

"No, you can't," I said.

"He's still out there for y/n and he's looking for his next target I can't lose you, too," I said running off.

Y/n POV

I sigh cleaning the table to see piper there and walk towards her

"Hey, Stranger welcome back," piper said smiled.

"Thanks," I said

"Did you hear the news about Quinn Maddox?" Piper asked.

"Yeah. Yeah I heard" I said grabbed her plates

"You're unconvinced?" Piper asked.

I looked at her and scoffs

"I find it hard to believe that uh, the mayor was the one who was chasing us around that bowling alley," I said getting the last cup making one of the cups shattering.
