My consciousness fades in and out on the lifeboat. On the right of me sits a woman sobbing, and on the left of me is a sleeping child. I just watched the unsinkable ship sink. I just watched thousands of people get pulled into the sea. After about 20 minutes, it started to go quiet. I am so lucky and so grateful that I caught a lifeboat. There's only one thing I'm worried about; Jack. The love of my life that I got separated from when I got pulled onto the lifeboat. Our eyes never left each other's as my lifeboat lowered, and my heart got ripped out of my chest every inch that the lifeboat moved away from him. My heart physically hurts at the memory of the sadness in his eyes. I feel the warm tears fall down my cheeks, and without even realizing it, Im asleep, dreaming of my blue eyed boy safe on a lifeboat.
