"g-gukk."
"come here baby.", jeongguk says and taehyung hugs him tighter than ever before. "this isn't real.", he cries.
"it is. it is real and it's ours."
taehyung looks at him. "i can't believe this." he can't put his feelings into words. it just feels surreal. it feels like a perfect dream, too beautiful to be real in this shitty world.
"there are two good universities 10 minutes away from here. and you know what? you can come guys!", jeongguk calls and taehyung frowns.
but it quickly turns into a smile when he sees hoseok, yoongi, namjoon and jin. "happy birthday!"
"what? you guys? here?", taehyung asks happily and they all nod. "our houses are two minutes away from yours."
"hoseok and yoongi have a workshop here to fix cars and shit. jin and namjoon have a little cafe. i'll help them while you're leaving for university. i already registered you and both universities accepted you. we'll go to both so you can choose.", jeongguk explains.
taehyung can't believe what just happens. he's smiling but suddenly he starts to sob.
they start to worry about him but jeongguk knows that these are happy tears. he pulls him closer and lets him cry into his chest.
taehyung can't believe that jeongguk just gave him a new chance. a chance to live. a chance to leave the past behind him and start a new life without abusive parents or people that abusive him mentally. he has a new chance to live and it's all because he met jeongguk that night when he went out for a walk.
he can't stop his tears.
"doesn't he like it?", taehyung hears the other say and he lets go of jeongguk to look at them.
"are you crazy? i love it!"
"thank god.", jin says and taehyung giggles before he turns his head to jeongguk again.
he looks directly into his eyes and then shakes his head slowly. "i love you so so much. thank you.", he says and jeongguk just smiles at him.
"i love you too baby.", jeongguk says and pecks his lips. "but come! you have to see the rest.", he says since they still haven't went inside the house.
they go inside and it's just stunning. it's not too big and not too small. jeongguk has shown him everything by now but one room is still left. he frowns when he sees the room is empty.
"gguk, wha-"
"just in case we decide to..."
taehyung knows what he means and he could start crying again. if they decide to adopt a baby, this will be the baby's room.
"i love you.", taehyung whispers as he looks around the room.
jeongguk grabs his hand softly and pulls him outside. he goes with taehyung to the beach which is literally right in front of their house.
"we have a new chance.", taehyung says.
"a chance to be happy.", jeongguk ads.
"to leave the past behind us."
"to let flowers grow right where we lay.", jeongguk says and turns his head to taehyung. taehyung kisses him and of course jeongguk responses.
