"they are surrounding the area! they're probably gonna spot my car soon!" i groaned, immediately putting the gun inside the bag.
"stay put! i will send someone!" he was panicking as well.
"they're surrounding the area! are you fucking stupid?!" i complained and looked at the cars.
there are probably thirty soldiers sent to scan the area. the other guy is probably captured by them. no way he escaped by running, he isn't flash.
nice, i'm not used to bring back ups because most of them ruin the plan and they distract me so i go alone.
i should've brought at least five today but i didn't.
and now i'm alone, encircled by armed military.
with this small area, there's only a few building to inspect.
the actual plan is to kill the two men, go smoothly to my car and drive away.
but these people just really like to ruin plans.
"sniper! there's a sniper!" i heard a yell, "find it and bring it here! split into four teams!"
"yes, captain!" i heard men.
"i'll inspect that building!" he yelled, pointing to my building.

"i'm not gonna stay put and get killed here, bastard." i cursed and turned off my earpiece.
i pulled out my hand gun while holding the bag with the heavy rifle. breathing heavily while making my way down the stairs.
i hope they haven't enter this building. this is the middle one.
but with those number of shoulders, they must have been scattered around.
my feet is so hard to drag, but this heavy steps shouldn't stop me.
i reached the ground floor and i guess no one entered here yet. the area was quite and i see no sight of flash light.
my car is at the back of the building so i still have chance to run away, and that's if they don't spot my car leaving.
when i saw the back door, i ran towards it but ducked when i heard a gun shot beside the wall in front of me.
"freeze, don't move or i'll shoot you."
i was breathing heavily and pulled up my gun, pointing it on his foot but he was quick to dodge. our guns both have silencer.
he tried to shot me again but i threw the heavy bag, catching the bullet. i took this chance to shoot his thighs.
he groaned and i laughed, walking next to him to pick up the bag.
in the darkness, the stars and badges on his uniform shined.
"oh, captain." i teased and pulled out my flashlight.
"my men will come soon," he said, about to reach his gun but i kicked it.
"they won't. they know you're checking this area." i said, kicking his wounded thighs.
i was about to open my flashlight when he pulled me down, making me kneel, his hands on my neck. i felt a sharp blade beside my neck.
i chuckled.
i pointed the gun on his stomach.
"don't be stupid, captain." i chuckled and pointed the flash light on his face with my other hand.
he closed his eyes for a moment because of the sudden brightness before meeting mine.
my eyes widened.
"seol?"
he gulped before slowly losing his grip on me, his knife going down until it was no longer pointed at me.
"jungkook." i said while standing up.
"i'm sorry! i must've mistaken you—"
he looked at me unbelievably when i pointed the gun on his head.
i got a gun, he's stupid for letting me go. i can't believe he's the captain.
this situation i'm in is just the worst, now that i know him as a person. not for my mission.
it was even worse that he knew my face. i need to get rid of him or i'll lose my job. or even worse, go to prison for working under an illegal company.
"what the hell, are you going to kill me?"
"what do you think?" i said, looking at him.
"i fucking let go of you and you're the sniper?" he scoffed, realizing his mistake.
"you thought i was joking back then?" i chuckled.
"who would've thought? you were all cute and pretty." he rolled his eyes.
he reached for his knife again but i stepped on his hands.
"i'm not gonna let you go, i'm going to get rid of you."
"just fucking kill me then, what's taking you too long—"
i slapped him with my gun and he passed out while his nose bled.
