Platoon of sixty got divided into three squads with twenty cadets each, sid, karl and yuv sir being in charge to each squad, they started to take their positions with their squads, and I was left with sid sir, he divided his twenty cadets into four more groups and gave his commands, dismissed them and turned towards me

I looked into his eyes expecting him to speak, I just can't stand here with no work while listening to people's screaming for help, just give me some orders as you did to your squad and leave me please, I prayed to myself

He finally spoke thinking after a minute

Sid : you should be in our sight all the time, carry your RT with you, don't forget it anywhere and answer me immediately, contact me or yuv or karl in channel three, killer whale is karl, yak is yuv and scorpion is me, your name will remain mona lisa, (rt's have other names for security purposes in some places ) report me with the name mona lisa (he paused for a minute)

Don't ever do anything risky and it's my order, break that to see the last sunshine of your life in my hands, now follow me and help us in constructing temporary shelter for on site first aid treatment.

"Yes sir" I said innocently standing in attention from ease,cursing him for his stupid warning, now a days he's literally sending me chills with his words

I started to work with a team in construction of shelter, everyone are working like robots, I was really appreciating the way each other are communicating and doing the work without wasting even fraction of second

I was holding a pole tight waiting for them to tie it with stirrups, then I've seen the other side already being filled with patients, karl sir and his team are continuously bringing the patients to the temporary shelter, doctors and nurses are running continuously rushing to the patients, some are coming with broken limbs, some are coming unconscious, some are coming of frost bites, some are coming laying in pools of blood

no doctor no nurse no one is free, every injured person is crying for help, every unconscious soul expecting someone to take care of them, every innocent child looking around scared,for a minute I cursed myself for not being doctor

"Miss, you can leave it now, thankyou" said an young cadet

"Hey that's okay, call me soul" I told him giving a smile,both of us walking towards unloading the equipments and medicines

"I am zayn" he said giving me warm smile and we both engaged ourselves in unloading

I can see sid sir checking on me every now and then even when he's busy and I started to feel bad for letting him being worried abt me in this time

I saw yuv sir and his team once in my way and he's already injured on his shoulders, completly drenched in dust and his team is no less

"Hey soldier, here" a nurse calling me out for help and I immediately kept my carton down and rushed towards her

A young boy was crying before a women who's struggling to say something, nurse is assuring her that she's fine and nothing's gonna happen to her, but she's falling short of breath, she's struggling to say something, I held her hand strong and asked her "what's it mam ? Tell me ? And you are going to be fine, trust me "

She's showing five fingers and a way, "ki.. my.. sis...," I asked her "five kids ?"

She's nodding "saa..ve.." she passed away holding my hand and the kid hand with both her hands

My heart felt a knot, a wave of sadness hit me hard,i couldn't believe what just happened before me, I looked at nurse and zayn, nurse called out doctor and the kid beside me is pulling my hands towards something crying and shivering, he's not speaking, he's just sighing, I think he's mute, I went blindly with him, five kids? Where are they ? What are they doing? Are they alive what should I do now ?
