Chapter 3

"We're almost there miss. About an hour away.", the carriage driver spoke from outside. You had just left Laytonburg and booked a ride for Netherwood for your next job. You raised your head, and looked down at your bag. Pulling out the flyer for the job, you read the description.

Head to The Arch Barrow and collect egg samples of the Moss Spiders! Make sure not to break any that you gather. Please bring them to the Alchemist in Netherwood. Reward will be given when mission is cleared.'

'Miss spiders huh', you thought, and harshly lye your head back hitting the carriage wall. 'This is gunna be hard.', you groaned in your head.

Soon after an hour you could feel the carriage wheels hit different sediment. You were on soil and dirt a few hours ago, now you suspect stone. Meaning a city's coming up.

"Miss! We're here! This is Netherwood!", you heard the carriage driver.

You lifted your head and scooted over closer to the wall. Gripping the window frame, you stuck your head out to see.

Your eyes widen at the sight and you quietly gasp.

There were stone buildings of all sizes with floral decor all spread about. There from the hills, where you road, before getting to the entrance, you could see the residential, environment, and city limits.

When you exited the carriage you handed the driver the fair and ran off with your bag ahold.

When you approached the entrance, from inside you could see children, and people roaming the market and the town was lively. Filled with markets, stalls, shops, and other little businesses.

You just could feel nothing but good vibes coming from this modest city.

You pulled the flyer out once more, and realize the flyer was a little unprofessional. 'Where's the location of the shop? Better yet, where do I find the cave I'm supposed to search for the eggs? This is crazy.'

You roamed the area a little and tried to find the adventures agency in this town. From what Mr. Willams told you, his entire family owns agency's are throughout the land, in every city. Though he plans on spreading to other countries and regions like Veswayton, the cold lands.

As you dodge and venture your way through the crowded town, you look for the agency.

"Chris! Chris get back here!", you hear a voice call out in anger. As you see a small boy, no older than eight run past your legs. He seemed to have a pouch in his hands.

"Chris!", you hear someone call out once more. You turn back to look forward only to collapse on the ground.

"Ouch. Ah! Sorry! I'm so sorry!", the same voice apologizes. You run your butt, an look up to see a boy maybe a few years younger than you. His green eyes were over casted by furrowed brows, which enhanced a worried expression. He held out a hand, which you took.

"I'm sorry ma'am. I should have-", you quickly interrupted.

"It's fine. I'm sorry too, honestly I wasn't looking where I was going either.", you chuckled.

"Ah, I see. Um, have you seen a little boy, about this high, dirty blonde hair, and in overalls? Perhaps?", he asked out of concern of your knowledge. You smile and nodded, "Yes actually. He was they very reason I wasn't paying attention to my footing. He went that way.", you said pointing of to a direction between the crowd.

"Ah, thank you. Bid you a good day.", he tipped his hat, slightly bowed and ran off to your directions.

You smiled. 'This town seems to be filled with youth.'
