The ticking of the tireless clock.
Another moment lost.
A destiny not found.
A flower shriveled in the dying earth.
A soul departed.
A life just found.
A job, worthless and unfulfilling.
Money that comes and goes.
Pain that lasts forever.
Eternity that comes in an instant.
Tears that flow uncontrollably.
Laughter that catches us unaware.
A talent lost.
A skill never acquired.
Love that seeks a definition.
Means that must have an end.
A memory still fresh.
Trying to make sense of something so vast.
Whispers in a crowded room.
Loneliness that we all evade.
Togetherness that we can't stand.
Uncertainty that clings on.
Fear of the unknown.
Oblivion beckons to the curious at heart.
