Three Dwarf Star Conspiracy

Five and Seven are in the medbay

Seven sits in a chair with her back turned to Five

Five is starting the second dutch braid in Seven's red hair

"I wish my hair was red like yours." Five tells her

"si tes cheveux étaient roux, on ne s'appellerait pas Noël" (if your hair was red, we wouldn't be called Christmas) Seven tells her

"Yeah, that's true I guess." Five says. "Done." She says, laying the finished braid on Seven's shoulder

"Thanks." Sevens says

"No problem." Five says, leaning down on the bed

"Two, this is the bridge." The girls hear Android's voice say over the comms

"Go ahead." Two's voice says

"There's something you should see." Android says

The two girls share a confused look before leaving the medbay and catching up with the rest of the team

They walk onto the bridge

Android is in a red outfit

"There's something different about you." Six laughs. "New hairstyle?"

"No, actually." Android says. "It's a new outfit."

"Yeah, I was kidding, I noticed." Six tells her

"Recent events have inspired me to adopt a fresh new look." Android says

"We love it." Five says for her and Seven

"Thank you, Christmas." Android says

"It's very nice." Two says

"Looks great." Six says

Android looks back at Three

"Yea, looks great." Three says

"Don't tell me you called us up here to check out your new look." Two says

"I did." Android says. "But, also, after boosting long-range sensors I was able to discover a network of unmanned security satellites around Nova-17." She says, bringing the images up on the screen. "If we get close enough that the Marauder can make planet-fall, we will undoubtedly be detected and fired upon."

"Can we take them out?" Six asks

"Not without taking significant damage to ourselves." Android says

"So, that's it then." Three says. "If we can't get anywhere near the planet, then what are we supposed to do?"

"What about Dr Shaw's backdoor program?" Five asks

"What are you talking about?" Six asks

"She gave me a command code she had embedded in Dwarf Star's security protocol when she was working there." Two says

"That was on Earth." Three says

"But if they're using the same security program--" Five tries

"That's a big if." Three cuts her off

"Can we transmit the override command form out here?" Two asks

"Negative." Android says. "The drone satellites are currently dormant. They need to be activated before the override can take effect."

"So the only way to see if it works is to get close enough to be screwed if it doesn't." Three sums up

"I can have the FTL drive prepped and ready for immediate activation if things go poorly." Android says. "We should be able to escape with minimal damage if the override command should fail."
