I ran and gone out of the gate. I will avoid Lyka for now. Medyo hindi stable ang pag iisip nya sa ngayon. Hindi kasi sya sanay na natatalo or nalalamangan. We sometimes fought, i always win but she doesnt care. Ngayon lang nangyari to.

I stroll down the east district to check the training camp..

Core members trained inside the school, but new recruits trained here at the east district. I notice a few groups doing individual training.

I ask Vera to extend the scope of energy core at this specific location. The results are better than expected. We are stricter than before. The more we fight those monsters the more people we loose. Though we haven't lost any core members, we are not happy. We lost some recruits and it really broke my heart. I know it's not easy.

I knitted my brows and stepped in

They both looked at me. The person who looks like a squad member was stunned before responding.

" Greetings!  I'm Leo from SA squad platoon 12! He wanted to join but he failed "

I nodded and look at the guy who looks a little older than me. He is tall and tan. a little handsome but looks arrogant. But this arrogance is different.

He saluted before walking away.

He went silent and hesitant.

" I want to earn more contribution points ! " he said honestly.

I laugh out loud making him stunned. When i stop, smile was wiped like it wasn't there before. I stared at him carefully.

" We lost few recruits months ago. Do you know why? "

" why ? "

" because they wanted to earn points. Just like you. "

I calmed myself down and turn around. I just don't want to lose more people.

" i just entered Pentagon city 3 days ago. Before that, i survive 8 months outside. Surviving by killing monsters and encountering mad men. I don't have someone anymore, and i am broke. Is it really wrong to say that i wanted to live comfortably by earning some points? I don't want to eat spoiled bread anymore. Ayoko na ding uminom ng tubig ulan.
