I was walking with my friends from school, when they asked a question
"So Y/M/N when are you gonna tell em?"
"I-I don't really know" I was kinda scared what they would say-I mean I do know know their gay but still
"Cmon you can't hide it forever!" Star always told me to tell them because they'd except me but I never did
"Don't worry I'll be there for ya" she just held my hand to reassure me
*sigh* "alright....I'll do it"
~time skip to when they get home~
I walked up to the door of my house with star hand in hand
I got so scared and I don't know why
Star squeezed my hand to reassure me and I calmed down a bit
We both walked in and as we did my family's eyes darted to me and star
"Oh hey kiddo, how was school?" Patton asked
"Um good" I said meekly
Star looked at me and cleared her throat quitely
"I need to tell you all something" I sounded panicked slightly so star just gave me a reassuring look and rubbed my back
"Well ask away princess" Roman always called me that and it always felt off
"I-um *sigh*"
"Just like a band-aid" star had reminded me
"I don't want to be called Y/N anymore"
"I want to be called Y/M/N"
I closed my eyes terrified
But I just felt someone hug me
Then another
And another
And two others
I re-opened my eyes and saw everyone hugging me
I started crying out of happiness and I felt all the weight I had on my chest release
Then they all spoke one after another telling me they accepted me no matter what
"Told ya so"
"Oh shush up star"
