1st' September, 1971.

Hogsmeade Station, Scotland.

Standing at the Hogsmeade station in Scotland, Arabelle couldn't help but fidget with her robe sleeves.

"Firs' years! Firs' years over here!" A big giant looking man was shouting.

"Go over there Belle, that filthy Oaf is Hagrid. He will take you to the castle with other first year's." Lucious said, his nose wrinkling at the sight of Rubeus Hagrid. "I just don't know why they kept the ugly thing at the school for Merlin's sake."

Arabelle noticed the distaste her brother's face showed but didn't question it. She knew and believed that her brother won't do something like that without any reason, she thought this Hagrid person might have done something bad, so she made a mental note to stay away from him.

"I'll see you at the Great Hall belle, you still have to meet my friends properly." With that Lucious turned and left to greet his own friends as they were going to the castle in a carriage.

With hesitant steps she started going towards the group nervous first year's all the while looking for a certain redhead girl. When a hand tapped on her shoulder she nearly jumped out of her skin and stumbled on air and if it wasn't for the pair of arms on her shoulder she would be kissing the ground.

Finally gaining her footing and trusting herself not to embrace herself any further, she turned around to find a striking grey eyes of non-other than Sirius Black staring at her with the same amused expression from earlier.

"Hello Arabelle, fancy meeting you here! Right James?"

"Yeah mate!" James said with a smirk that mirrored at Sirius's face.

Sirius Black has seen many pretty girls at parties that his family hosts but admittedly this girl was different. The platinum blonde girl was very shy and self-conscious that Sirius had noticed earlier, he had noticed the way she looked at the rude red haired girl, who somehow had managed to capture James Potter's attention to Sirius utter disbelief and at her own hair with a frown. Sirius would never admit but he actually found her more intriguing then the feisty redhead, Lily Evans.

Arabelle somehow managed to utter a quiet 'Hello', while never focussing on their face longer than a few seconds and fidgeting with her robe sleeves with pink cheeks, visibly uncomfortable. Cute, Sirius thought.

A flash of red came into his view and trailing behind was none-other than snivellus and James and Sirius resisted the urge to groan out aloud.

"Hello Evans!" James said with a bright smile and ran a hand through his already messy hair and Sirius couldn't help but wince at the sight "Oh! I didn't see you there, Snivellus." James said with an innocent smile "I might have mixed you with the darkness! My bad!" Sirius' snickering turned into loud laughter and the only thing that was keeping on his feet right now was his hold on the arm of Remus, who Arabelle didn't notice before.

Giving them a mean glare Lily said "What is so funny Black?"

"Nothing Evans, just observing the darkness!" Sirius said now somewhat stable.

With a last glare directed towards the boys Lily grabbed Arabelle's hand and dragged her towards Hagrid who was still gathering first year students and stood with them.
