"All these many people just to see your boyfriend?" Alice said while holding my wrist.

We are trying to wiggle our way to the table that Bright reserved for us.

"Fake boyfriend" I reminded her

"For now" Alice smirked and we finally reached our table which is almost near the stage.

The band is already set to play. Bright will play as the lead singer today that's why the place is almost full.

He told me that he rarely play as the vocalist of the band. He's contented playing at the side with his guitar but he can't refuse one of his good friends who requested for him to play on his birthday.

Upstage, I saw Bright talking to his friends who will also play today. He didn't notice that we already arrived because his back is against us.

"It won't happen" I argue with Alice

"Plays the guitar. Check. Tall and handsome. Check. Hot as fuck. Check. Win, Bright is exactly your type of guy"

"I won't make the same mistake twice Alice. I already set my mind to not fall in love with a musician again and besides Bright is straight"

Bright with the guitar strapped on his body suddenly reminded me of my ex boyfriend.

I remember how that guy left me hanging and up to this day, memories of him are still hurting me.

"Win, the only straight thing left in this world is a ruler" Alice chuckled

I roll my eyes at Alice. It is really useless to argue with her because she always has an explanation for everything and she will always justify her answers.

"Hey boss! Hey Win!" Lance suddenly arrived on our table and took a seat next to me.

"What exactly are you doing here?" Alice asked

"I'm here to support Bright"

"Don't tell me you're into him too?" Alice gave Lance an accusatory look

"I'm not into dudes boss. Bright is my bestfriend"

"Bestfriend? So you know that Bright and I are..."

"Boyfriends?! Yeah he told me about how fast you two fell in love with each other and that guy won't shut up about you and your book. It's getting annoying already" Lance laughed.

For a moment, I got worried that Lance might have an idea of my fake  relationship with Bright.

I barely know both of them and the less people know about it, the lesser risk that our secret will come out.

My dad already hired someone to follow Bright and we can't afford to make any mistake. And as much as possible, we need to act like a real couple even when we're not in front of my dad or Luke.

"Bright!!! Your wife is here" Lance suddenly shout which made Bright and his friends look at our table.

Bright then smiled and waved at me and I noticed that I got plenty of stares from the people around me.

If only you could kill people by looking at them, I think I'm already lying in the pool of my own blood by the stares that I'm getting from his "fans"

"I hope that the earth would open up and swallow me whole now" my ears are red from getting all the attention from this place.

"That is Bright?! Pictures does not do him justice. He's friggin' hot" Alice said in shock.
