Fantasy to reality

Fantasy to realtiy

Empty inside,

Washed away with the tide.

That's how I feel,

Every bit of it real.

Reality hit me hard,

An invitation minus the card.

My fantasy world disappeared,

My eyes misty and teared.

I feel hollow, I feel blank,

A damsel walking a plank.

I know my time has come,

I walk the wood, my feet numb.

My toes curl the edge,

I lean over the ledge.

The currents travel fast,

No one will throw me a cast.

I will drown in the realization,

Far from any relaxation.

Realtiy has hit,

We've all just sunk ship.

Dreams are too far away,

The real world here to stay.

No more wishes, no more pleads,

The boring real life forever leads.

I was surrounded by others too,

Others like me and you,

Escaping the horrors of life,

The remidy to all the strife.

But my medication is long gone,

My body moving on.

Goodbye wonders, goodbye dreams,

Goodbye friendships, goodbye teams,

Goodbye happiness, goodbye smiles,

You won't find the real me for miles.

I've been hit with the truth,

Too tired to fight with claw and tooth.

I'm giving up the battle,

Wisked away with moving cattle.
