There was giggles , laughter all around the hall . Sound of Anklets, smiles were passed around each other but for a unique face Lavanya stood there sad . Piara had to attend her guests but Lavanya's thoughts occupied her mind . Harsh was happy because he achieved something, He won and married her , He married other wives other than Piara with obstacles, some of them placed by him and some by someone else.Everyone partied and danced . Soon every one became tired .
"Piara take Lavanya " said Harsh
"Ok" said Piara
Piara went towards Lavanya who stood there filled with sorrow . She lost her battle , thoughts of her brother lingered her mind and her fate .
"Lavanya come with me dear" said Piara
Lavanya nodded and held Piara's hand and left for her room . She had trouble climbing the stairs but Piara was there to help her . She sat in the bed as soon as she reached her room
"Lavanya change into comfortable clothes " said Piara
"I can't do it alone so it's better not doing it" said Lavanya
"Lavanya I'm here to help you so change"Said Piara
Piara helped Lavanya remove the jewellery which weighed a lot . Lavanya's neck turned pinkish red and she shrieked when Piara touched there. Lavanya with the help of Piara was able to remove all the heavy clothes and she went to change into comfortable cloth.
Piara came with a cloth .
"What is Piara"asked Lavanya
"Its coconut, it will help remove the pigmentation we put" said Piara and Lavanya nodded.
Piara wiped all the pigmentation and Lavanya jumped to her bed , Piara decided to leave and she walked towards the door. She felt a hand holding her hand not allowing her to go . She turned and saw Lavanya holding her hand tight .
"Piara please don't go" said Lavanya
"But dear" said Piara
"Please don't go" said Lavanya
"I need to change" said Piara
"You can change into Mine" said Lavanya
" but Lavanya"said Piara
"Please don't go , everything is going wrong on my life atleast for today don't leave me " said Lavanya
"Ok Lavanya "said Piara and shot a smile towards Lavanya
Piara laid down all the jewellery and she was just wearing her sacred necklace, it was stunning. She then changed into comfortable clothes and walked towards Lavanya
"Can I sleep in your lap for a while please" asked Lavanya
"Sure" said Piara
Piara sat in the bed and Lavanya kept her head in Piara's thighs . Piara played with Lavanya's hair and a smile came on Lavanya's face . Thoughts of Drishti came into her mind , she really needed the hug from Drishti Now . She turned facing Piara, she saw her beautiful one of a kind sacred necklace (mangal sutra: it is worn by a married woman , its tied by her husband at their wedding). She looked at it by touching it and tears came into her eyes.
"What happened Lavanya " asked Piara
"Too much happened " said Lavanya
"Dear I couldn't do anything " said Piara
"I would never blame you , I am surviving just because of you " said Lavanya and hugged Piara
"I used to lay my head in Drishti's Lap when I was said and tell her my problems " said Lavanya
"Try me this time" said Piara
"You are his first wife right " asked Lavanya
"I don't remember mentioning that to you" said Piara
"So its true and I just guessed it" said Lavanya
Lavanya started play with Piara's sacred chain and seeing this Piara gave out a smile
"You are not annoyed by me playing with your sacred chain" asked Lavanya
"Weirdly no " said Piara
"Why did he marry me" asked Lavanya
" I don't know why he does that , what satisfaction he gets " said Piara and Lavanya gave out a smile seeing Piara saying that in a dramatic fed up way
"At last I saw a genuine smile , the answer is that he had a strong will to conquer five powerful kingdoms and when he does that he keeps a souvenir I guess" said Piara
"What" Lavanya said with a weird face
"I have no idea what he gets from doing it " said Piara
"You introduced me to four wives and I'm the fifth one right" asked Lavanya
"Yes dear , now this is over" said Piara
" you are not a souvenir wife " said Lavanya and Piara nodded
"What is your story". Asked Lavanya
" you laid here to get sleep so get some " said Piara
" Piara I can't sleep , I'm tired but can't sleep because my mind is filled" said Lavanya
"Try to sleep " said Piara
"Tell me the story so my mind doesn't get filled with thoughts and have a bed time story" said Lavanya
" you are stubborn " said Piara
"I am " said Lavanya and gave out a smile
