Chapter 11

Hardins POV

our plane has finally landed and I had to wake up Tessa from her nap, she's so beautiful even when she's sleeping

"We're here" I tap on her shoulder, she wakes up rubbing her eyes

We got off our plane and grab our luggage's, I had bought a ride to take us to Karen's house planned

Once we both step foot outside we are blasted with paparazzi taking picture of us. I grab Tessa hand and walk over to the black SUV waiting for us and sit inside

Tessa looks over the window at the paparazzi and I hold her hand

"How did they know you were here?" She asks

"Not sure probably one of those girls said something about us from the airport"

"Oh" she simply says

Once we arrive a carry our luggage to the front door, I raise my hand to open it but Tessa pulls me back

"Hardin don't just walk in at least press the doorbell" she huffs

"Fine"

The door opens and we are greeted by Karen, "oh my goodness you guys are already here!" She squeals, she gives me a small hug and goes over to Tessa holding her bump

"Wow you are still glowing girl! It's getting so big" Tessa smiles at her and they continue to talk, when I walk inside I see my dad.. w ken walking up to me

"Nice to see you again Hardin" he smiles giving me a pat on my shoulder. Our relationship has gotten better over the years and I am for one grateful "nice to see you too" I smile back

"I'll let you two out your stuff in the room we will be in the kitchen" Karen and ken walk away leaving me and Tessa alone

We both grab our stuff and head to my old room

"Wow so many memories" Tessa says putting her suitcase in the closet

"Not good ones" I mumble but I can tell she Heard me

"Well then maybe we can make good ones" she smile at me and walk over grabbing both of my hands hugging her

We hear a knock to our door interrupting our moment "you can come in" Tessa calls moving out of my grip, and I pull her again where she is standing next to me with my arm wrapped around her. Karen opens the door

"I just wanted to say that I made dinner, but I understand if you guys are tired from the long flight"

"No it's ok will come down, pregnancy craving are no joke" Tessa laughs and Karen joins her, she then leaves the room

"Come on let's go eat I'm starving" she takes my hand and drags me to the kitchen. Tessa says hi to Landon and Sofia (and addy too) and I do the same

We all grab plates and grab some food, once I finish grabbing the rest of t my food I sit in the large table next to Tessa, Landon is talking about some story and I look over to the pile of food on Tessa plate

"Are you hungry?" I tease her looking at her plate then back at her

"Oh shut up" she smacks me on the chest and I laugh

"So Tessa who are you planning on inviting for your gender reveal tomorrow" Karen starts the conversation

"Oh I was just think my mom and the vances" Tessa takes a sip of her water. They talk about the party till they finish their food,

"Do you need help putting things away" Tessa obviously asks

"Oh no sweetie I'm fine, you should get some rest I'm sure the flight and the baby is getting you tired" Karen gives Tessa a hug and looks over at me who is leaning on the wall. I gesture to her to come here and she walks over and I take her hand leading us to the bedroom.

Once we enter the room Tessa yawns "I'm going to go change I'm so tired" she walks in the closet to change into her cloudy fuzzy pants and one of my black T-shirt. I meanwhile change and lay on the bed waiting for her

Tessa scooches her way next to me laying her head of my chest, I play with her blonde wavy hair massaging it

"I feel like I can't even lay next with you anymore because of my bump" she frowns

"Well make it work" I smile at her
