This one is for those quarantined keepers, a extra special chapter on how Sophie and Keefe got engaged

"No peeking!" I shot a quick glance at my passenger, making sure he hadn't moved his blindfold
"Ok, ok, sorry" he laughed, adjusting the fabric to cover his eyes once again
"Good, now no looking till I say so" I had to remind him

"Okay, now you can look" I said, spreading my arms in front of me as he blinked in the sudden light
"This... this is the place" He said, cracking a grin. I simply nodded and grabbed his hand, leading him into the door of the small ice cream parlor. We ordered the same thing we did on the day he confessed, two simple cones. After we got them, we walked and ate, and I slowly lead him beneath the boardwalk and to the swing under neath it, talking the whole way. He helped me to get up on it again, then hopped up next to me to finish our ice cream together.
"Keefe, you know I love you, right?" I asked him once we were both done
"Of course. And you know how much I love you, right?" He asked. I gently rubbed the small box in my hoodie pocket, answering carefully
"I know you love me. But I don't think you really know how much I love you" I said
"Of course I do, Foster" He says
"Mm mm" I disagree "but I think I can show you" I hop down and stand in front of him, meeting his slightly confused gaze "Keefe sencen, I love you so much. I love you more then anyone, and I want you to be in my life forever" I held my hands out to him, and he took them "I want to be able to hear your laugh when you make a stupid joke for the rest of my life. I want to be able to see you smirk. I want to come home to you after a long day. I want... you" he had slowly slid down from the swing, hanging onto my every word. While keeping his hands in mine, I kneeled down on the soft sand
"Sophie?" He whispered, holding my gaze intensity
"Keefe, I love you, so so much" I untangled one of my hands and reached into my pocket, pulling out the small black satin box. I flipped it open and held out the simple silver ring with swirling patterns imprinted on it. He seemed to get it without me saying so, because he pulled him free hand to cover his mouth, his eyes sparkling. But he stayed silent. There was such a long pause I started getting nervous, and eventually had to speak
"Keefe? I think this is the part where you say yes or no?" I reminded him gently. He look surprised, then cleared his throat. A long pause, then cleared his throat again
"I'm sorry I was so happy it appears I forgot to say it out loud. Yes, yes Sophie. Of course, yes!" He didn't seem to be able to get more then that out, but he gently took the box from my hand, the snapped it shut and set it in the swing. He picked my up by the waist and spun me around, both of us laughing. He set me down and I lunged forward, grabbing his shirt and pulling him in for a long, sweet kiss, now familiar tingles slowly rising in my chest. I pulled away, grabbing the box from the swing and opening it. I took his hand and slid the ring onto his finger.
"There, better" I laughed, but he just pulled me In again, our lips meeting. I smiled and kissed back, throwing my arms around his neck.
"I love you, foster"
