a/n: So I tried my best to write this chapter. Sorry if it isn't up to the mark. I am not sure when I'll get to update again hence, I am just posting it.

Just two more episodes to go!!!

In the TV series version, they seem to be in Bangkok instead of Chiang Mai. I am not going to change to that in this fic.

uNEDited.

Sarawat got so drunk on his birthday morning that he was unable to attend his classes. He passed out in the pub. He slept throughout the weekend unable to bring himself to do anything. Man kept shaking him and waking him in every other hour, afraid his friend had alcohol poisoning.

*

Sarawat busied himself with his studies and band work to the point Earn gave him questioning looks. His newfound focus helped them track Mork, a fellow first-year student from the Engineering department. He is tall and big and looked a lot like the other miscreants from that department, however, he turned out to be polite in person. He had a great voice and played guitar well too. Sarawat was only happy to recruit him. Of course, Mork played hard to get initially, hesitating to join them. Sarawat ended up following him to the cafe he worked at part-time. He asked him for one last time to consider and then left.

Sarawat couldn't exactly force someone to do what they didn't want.

Man handed him his white football jersey. The one he had helped Tine wear on seventh after the drinking mess. It was washed. Tine didn't return it himself.

*

Sarawat made sure to avoid the Music Club.

It was the last Wednesday of March.

Sarawat had followed his friends to the General Department's cafeteria. He hadn't realised Tine was there until it was too late. He could have left but he had done nothing wrong. Why should he avoid and run away? Sarawat knew his friends kept meeting them all the time. That was okay if they wanted to. He wouldn't stop them. Besides he hadn't told them what had happened.

Tine was sitting right in front of him, laughing and joking and smiling and teasing Sarawat's friends like everything was okay, as if nothing had happened.

Right. He had asked to pretend that nothing had happened.

Sarawat wanted to do that. He wanted to pretend that everything was alright and he wasn't hurt and he wasn't heartbroken. But seeing Tine be so casual and not the slightest bit remorseful or regretful.

He even tried to include Sarawat in his jokes.

How could he be so casual? So indifferent to Sarawat's feelings? Even if he didn't return Sarawat's feelings, as a friend could he not be the slightest bit considerate?

Then he stood up midway of his lunch, excusing himself to go buy soda.

He watched as Tine chatted with someone by the vending machine. He averted his eyes when Tine looked at him.

Tine didn't come back to the table.

Sarawat played for the university team. They lost in that qualifying match. Even though Man and Boss tried to console him, it didn't change the fact that he had been distracted and caused his team's loss.
