ManType: a Work in Progress i

a/n: Happy 3 years anniversary to 2gether!

Type followed the young boy inside, the wooden gate sliding shut behind him. The house was big and spoke of a family with disposable income.

"He's here!" A familiar voice shouted.

Type looked up to see his brother smile and wave at him from the balcony on the first floor. Type raised the bouquet and said awkwardly, "I'm here" as two strangers joined his brother on the balcony.

They must be Sarawat's cousins. Sarawat and Tine were celebrating their third anniversary along with Sarawat's cousin for some reason. Type hadn't been able to hear Tine's explanation. He didn't plan to stay here for too long either way.

He could hear the loud music playing upstairs. There were also loud splashes coming somewhere from the back. Some of their friends must be at the pool.

He didn't think Sarawat's family would be this well off.

No adults - no parents seemed to be around.

Type followed the boy upstairs as he took in the interior design of the house.

"We're here, P'," the younger boy said suddenly cheerfully. "They're partying upstairs. You can go the rest of the way up, right?"

"Of course."

"Thanks, P'!"

The boy was already running down the stairs shouting for his friends.

"P'Type!"

Tine arrived at the top of the stairways, beaming. "You came."

"Of course. You invited me."

Type climbed the rest of the steps and hugged his brother. They do that now. Hugging. Tine loved it and Type had come to realise he also appreciated it.

"Still, thanks for coming," Tine said, his voice muffled against Type's shoulder. "I know you don't exactly get along with my friends."

"Welcome, P'," a taller boy said appearing right behind Tine.

"Oh, yes," Tine pulled back and said by way of introduction, "This is P'Mork, Wat's cousin. He is hosting us. P'Mork, this is my brother, P'Type."

"Nice to meet you," they said in unison.

Tine laughed and they snorted.
