I was packing my bag when my mom came in my room. She was sporting a black satin nightgown that made her appear really gorgeous.

Umupo ito sa kama ko at pinanuod akong mag-impake. She was smiling at me while following my movements around the room with her eyes.

After I place everything that I need inside my luggage, I zipped my luggage close. Karamihang laman nito ay mga paperworks ko, kahit may mga personal issue ako I still have to work my ass off. May mga trabaho kasing hindi ko pwedeng iasa kay Kurt.

"You look very excited." Ang nakangising sabi sa akin ni mom ng magtagpo ang mga mata namin. Ngumise ako pabalik dito at mahigpit siyang niyakap.

Dahil sa tindi ng saya na nararamdaman ko binuhat ko pa ito at ipinaikot-ikot sa buong kwarto.

"JUSKO! NATHANIEL! Put me down!" Ang tili nito. Nakaangkla ang kanyang braso sa leeg ko habang patuloy naman nitong pinapalo gamit ang isa pang kamay ang dibdib ko.

I was laughing hard after I put her down.

"Ma, please take care of, Noah. Susunduin ko lang po ang mommy niya." Ang pakiusap ko sa kanya while hugging her tight. I kissed her forehead because I felt like she needed it.

"You can count on me, anak. You don't have to worry about my apo, just focus on protecting and taking Austine back." Saglit siyang natahimik and we were swaying slowly from the silence. "You really love him, don't you?"

I kissed her head and nodded. "I love him, mom. I really love him. I can't bear to lose someone again."

"Mabuti nalang at hindi ka nagmana sa kaduwagan ng ama mo." Ang natatawa nitong sabi sa akin.

"No, ma. I'm just lucky that you guys are my parents."

"I'm also lucky to have you kids in my life. I may have done a lot of selfish things but I truly love you and your siblings." Humiwalay ito sa pagkakayakap sa akin at mabilis na pinunasan ang mga luha.

"Why are you crying, ma?" Ang nag-aalala kong tanong dito. I moved closer to her and cupped her face.

"I'm just happy anak. Pakiramdam ko nakalaya na ako. I'm happy that Allistain finally met Christian once again." Ang naluluha nitong sagot sa akin bago ako tinalikuran para magtungo sa kama ko at umupo.

"Ma, are you jealous?" Ang tukso ko dito. Mahina lang itong natawa at pinalo ako.

"Baliw! Sobrang tanda ko na para sa selos-selos na 'yan and also....I only see your dad as a friend. No matter how much I tried to learn how love him, hindi ko magawa. I know your dad love me and respects me pero hindi rin ito makakahigit sa pagmamahal niya kay Christian." Aniya habang pinaglalaruan ang zipper ng luggage ko.

"Ma, I love you. The boomers are dead, you have every right to love who you truly love. Ano man ang magiging desisyon niyo ni dad sa relasyon niyo we are here to support you." I told her carefully. She looked up to me with her twinkling eyes and smiled sincerly.

"Love you too, son."

Our moment was interrupted with Roan's voice coming from the other side of the door.
