A month later..

Laurianna's POV:

Everyday since my date with Rakim we've been together, getting to know eachother more, not gonna lie I invited him inside one night last week and it was wraps.

He took my mind away from everything. Dave especially. He pleased my body in a new way. Even tho he wasn't my first he did a damn good job being the second.

It's been a change getting use to this absence but it's okay. Rakim is sweet to me, charming and he makes me feel nice.
I got up and went to shower,
I got ready for the day and headed out to get lunch with Kim.

// Location: Chick Fil A

"Mmmm... Gods chicken" Kimberly laughed walking inside.

"I've been craving"
I walked to the register to order my favorite. The Deluxe chicken sandwich meal with a large fry and a water.

Kimberly got chicken nuggets & a large fry with a sprite. We got our food and sat down to eat.

We started catching up talking about our lives, things that were new. You know, the usual. I was telling her about Rakim and our times together then all of a sudden her face changed as she looked at the door.

"What?" I said turning my head chewing my sandwich

It was Dave. He looked so different. I almost choked

Kimberly still has no clue of what happened between me and him and I planned to keep it that way for now.

My stomach dropped. My mind started to think of everything that went on between us.

Next thing I know he approaches the table. I played it off as if I wasn't just eyeing him down.

"Can i talk to you for a minute?" He says to me.

My heart was beating fast.

I looked at Kim she looked back at me raising an eyebrow, "Go talk to the man" she edged me on laughing uncomfortably.

I nodded at her saying okay and I got up

We walked outside and as soon as the outside air hit me Dave gripped my arm and pulled me to where nobody could see us.

"Who you been around?" He asked me with a stern voice.
I was shaking, I was so nervous and then his grip on me.

"Ugh" I sighed with an attitude and I snatched my arm away. "Why are you worried?" I looked him dead in the eyes crossing my arms.

"Cause." He paused. "Someone was in ya pops crib and I was was curious."

"How'd you even find me?"

"Was leaving out the neighborhood. Saw someone in ya pops crib when I was riding by, saw you at the neighborhood entrance leaving out. Decided to follow." He looked me right back dead in my eyes.

...The tension I was feeling.

"K. I'm going now" I started to walk away and he grabbed my arm again pulling me back.

"Who was in ya crib Laurianna?" He asked again

I didn't want to tell him. I was afraid. Of what? I have no idea because if we're being honest I shouldn't give a fuck how he feels... I should tell him since he could push me away and do me like he did. Honestly the audacity of this man. I didn't even know myself who was in my dads place though, I'm assuming it's Rakim since he has been staying nights with me but I wasn't gonna lay all my business out.

"A friend." I said, once again snatching my arm back.

"Ight." He said.

He walked away sparking a blunt hopping in his car. It took everything in me not to run after him and curse him out. Who does he think he is? I kept my composure though and walked back inside to finish my food with Kim.

Dave's POV:

"A friend" I mocked her and chuckled at the thought.

I rolled my windows down and sped off. Letting the smoke fly away in the breeze.
I drove back in the neighborhood and there was an all black truck outside her pops crib.

I chuckled again sucking my teeth. "Man"

"It's gonna be some shit" I took a big hit of my blunt and sped to my house.

Hopped out, called up the boys and let em know who I saw.

" Santana got the drop. Rocky was at the old crib"

They already knew what that meant.
