Malissa removed a loose floorboard from the ground before picking me up again. She placed me into the new hole on the ground without any trouble
"Join in everybody!"
"We are going to play a game of hide and seek, ok dear?" Malissa said "Remember. Follow the tricks I told you. Remember the rhyme I told you Don't make a sound, and you will not be found" Malissa said
"Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows"
"And when you are not found. You win the round" Malissa and I said together "Good, we love you so much, my baby" Malissa giving me a kiss on the forehead

"I love you too" I said slightly confused
"When you're in love to stay"
I sat down on the ground as my mom placed the board back into place
"Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows"
The place was cramped but big enough for me to be comfortable in it. I heard my mom stand up and stomp her foot slightly hard to make sure the board was in place

I hug my knees into my chest. Jumping when I heard a crash out from my hiding spot. Fear rising inside me I cover my mouth in attempt to quiet my panicked breathes
"Brighter than a lucky penny"
Yelling was heard. My parents voices along with unknown voices
"When you're near the rain clouds disappears"
I kept repeating what my mom said what to do when I hid inside my head
"Dear"
Don't make a sound and you won't be found.. And if you're not found. You win the round...

I started to cry when I heard the next sounds

My mother screamed as my father went silent

"Search the house!" An unknown voice ordered

A few 'Yes sir's were heard before footsteps scrabbling away from the room. When I looked up my breath hitched as I saw the male's shadow above me
"Everything that's wonderful"
I stared at the floorboard in fear before the shadow disappeared along with some footsteps walking away as I heard more coming back to the room
