"Cam." I grinned, hugging my older brother as he wrapped his arms around my neck.
"Hey sis, good to have you back home."
"I'm so happy to be home again." I sighed and he grabbed Theo from me.
"Hi little man, I'm uncle Cam."
I smiled and mum brought a bottle outside for Theo.
"Here honey." She said, handing it to Cam & he fed him.
"He's a good eater hey." Cam laughed and I grinned, looking over his shoulder.
"Bloody not wrong." Dad laughed and I grinned.
"He's been sleeping so well too." I smiled, god Theo was an absolute angel.
"Hit the jackpot with him didn't we?" Dad grinned, pulling Theo's shirt down.
I nodded, smiling & watched my beautiful boy stare up at my brother.
"He likes you uncle Cam." I laughed and Mum smiled, rubbing his hair back.
"Those eyes get bigger everyday." She grinned and I smiled, seeing Theo keep his gaze on my brother.
"Hi buddy." Cam whispered, grabbing Theo's hand and I smiled.
"You're definitely his favourite." I laughed and Cam shrugged.
"Probably." He laughed and kissed my forehead.
"You're his favourite mommy though."
My heart melted at the sound of him calling me mommy.
Imagine when Theo's old enough to say it.
Omg I couldn't wait for that day to come.
Theo finished his bottle & Cam gave him back to my dad.
"Go back to nonno mate, uncle Cams gotta tend to his kid taking a piss off the deck." They laughed and I looked over to see Blake with his pants around his ankles.
He was 2.
Cam ran over and I laughed as Blake just kept peeing.
"Blakey what are you doing mate?" I laughed, putting him on my hip.
"Wee wee." He giggled and I smiled.
"Theo." He whispered, touching the baby's back.
"Yeah buddy, that's Theo."
"Theo." He repeated again and dad grinned.
"These two are gonna get up to a whole lot of mischief when they're older. I can't wait." I smiled and Cam grabbed a football from the yard.
"Come on Blake, come pass the ball."
He chucked it to Blake and he handed it to dad.
"You want me to throw it?" He laughed, taking it from him.
He nodded and smiled down at him.
"Okay go to your dad and I'll throw it to you."
Blake ran over to Cam and I watched as dad held on to Theo with one hand and threw the ball to Blake with the other.
Look at him being a cute little grandpa.
"Well Blakey has the magic touch already." My dad mumbled beside me and I smiled, watching Cam & his little boy playing.
"Everything feels so good."
"I'm glad you moved back here."
"Me too, I finally feel so good."
"You're doing a good job with Theo too honey. I'm really proud of you."
"Naw thanks dad, I love it."
He smiled and Blake fell over.
Cam was running to get the ball and I smiled.
Blake walked over to me and started crying and I smiled.
"You're right mate, dust off the dirt." I whispered to him, wiping his shirt and knees and hugging him.
"You run out and catch this ready." Cam laughed and Blake ran a few metres away.
"Catch it." He called to him and he did.
"Well done bud." Cam laughed, grabbing Blake and I laughed.
"Daddy!" He cheered and I laughed.
I walked over and smiled up at him.
"Can I talk to you?"
"Of course, what's up?" He asked, throwing the ball to Blake again.
"Do you think I'm doing wrong by Theo by not giving him a dad?"
"No I don't. I think anything he could learn from a dad he'll learn from me & dad. It takes a village to raise a baby Ava, your story has just started, don't be so hard on yourself."
I nodded and he put his arm over me.
"I'm always gonna be here to look after you both hey, you're gonna give him a much better life with bigger opportunities than he would've gotten in that orphanage."
I nodded and he sighed.
"You've got a heart of gold Av, believe that okay?"
I smiled up at my big brother and he smiled down at me.
What would you do without them? They might be painful while you're kids, but they become your best friends when they're older.
I grabbed Theo off my dad and he smiled at me.
"Someone's here for you."
I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion
