Sadie Parker finally figured out how to work the lock on her locker and was in the process of grabbing her books. Suddenly it seemed as though everyone's eyes locked on two girls entering the school. One of them being the brunette who may or may not of seen her use magic. She'd been avoiding her in the hallways and every else she went in the school, which was hard considering they had some classes together. She slammed her locker shut and began her way to class early.

"Hey! Sadie right?"

Sadie turned around to the voice and locked eyes with the same two girls.

"Yeah, that's me," she said hesitantly.

"I'm Allison, and this is Lydia! I was new once too so I know how you're feeling."

"Oh um thanks."

Lydia was looking around and the girl seemed a little anxious to say the least. Allison, on the other hand, was calm and relaxed as she talked to Sadie.

"Of course! Here."

Allison said as she took Sadie's phone right out of her hand. She tapped away at the screen, no doubt to put her number in the phone.

"That's my number! Text me if you ever need help or just want to hangout."

Allison smiled and Sadie of course thought it looked genuine so she smiled back.

"Thanks! I should probably get to class now."

"See ya!"

Allison and Lydia went in the opposite direction of where Sadie was headed, Mr. Harris's class. She mentally sighed as she reached the door and walked in to sit down at the same seat in the back she had been sitting at.

Class began and they all got out their materials.

"Everyone please turn to page seventy-three."

Sadie glanced up to see what Mr. Harris was writing on the board so she could copy it down when a paper ball cake flying through the air. It hit Mr. Harris in the back of the head and she tried her hardest not to laugh.

"Who in the hell did that?"

When he asked she saw the same two boys who had just got in trouble both point at each other. She rolled her eyes at their immaturity but secretly found it hilarious. They were both sent to the office and class continued on. Suddenly her phone started ringing loudly. She mentally punched herself for not turning of the ringer. Quickly Sadie pulled it out and turned it off. When she looked up everyone's eyes were on hers, including Mr. Harris's. The glare he was sending her sent shivers down her spine.

"Ms. Parker, I know you are new here but that doesn't give you a pass to disrupt class. I'll see you after school for detention."

Sadie's mouth dropped open and she really wanted to protest but didn't want to add onto her punishment so she kept her mouth shut and gave him a curt nod.

Sadie once again found herself at her locker switching out books. She was one of the only people in the hallway because of the detention she had to stay late for. She noticed Allison's friend, Lydia, talking to some boy not far from her. She tried not to eavesdrop but heard the last bit of their conversation.

"If I were you i'd stay home tonight."

"What's that supposed to mean? What's tonight?"

"It's a full moon."

Sadie stopped what she was doing and looked over at him. He was smirking while walking away from Lydia. She was curious as to why he thought a full moon was dangerous. The only people who were conscious of when full moons were present weren't even people but supernatural beings. As he walked past her she planned to "accidentally" bumped into him to see if she was able to siphon any magic off of him. They came in contact and she saw a light glow softly when their shoulders collided. Her jaw dropped and she stood there stunned.
