Chapter 7

Hailee's POV

Prince Sin opened the car's door for me. Diretso ang lakad niya, samantalang nakasunod lang ako sa kaniyang likod at palinga-linga sa paligid. Hindi ko mapigilang mamangha sa engrandeng disenyo ng palasyo, tila ba hindi sapat ang isang araw para libutin at makita ang kabuuan nito.

"Prince, the king wanted me to inform you that they won't be able to meet you for a while." A butler came out of nowhere and made me jump.

Tumango lang si Sin at parang sanay na sa narinig. Para saan pa at umuwi siya kung hindi niya rin naman pala makakasama o makikita man lang ang mga magulang niya?

Nilingon naman ako bigla ni Sin "You should get some sleep." Sabi nito saka bumaling sa butler. "Take her to her room." Utos nito.

Yumuko ang butler kay Sin and he lead the way so I followed him. Hindi ko matandaan kung saan kami dumaan dahil sa dami ng hallway at nalilito ako, I felt like I lost my sense of direction. Huminto ang butler sa isang malaking pinto, even the door's design looks sophisticated!

"This is your chamber, madame. You'll see a bell on top of the bedside table, just ring it whenever you need something and a servant will come. Have a good night."

Nginitian ko ito saka ito muling yumuko at umalis. Tinitigan ko naman ang dambuhalang pinto sa harap ko and reached for the knob saka ito marahang itinulak. I almost dropped my jaw when I saw what's inside, I jumped on the huge bed and felt it's inviting warmth. I suddenly felt sleepy but then I need to wash myself first.

Upon opening a door that has a sign that said walk-in closet I saw clothing racks and grab a robe and nightgown. I felt like a princess! Lumabas na ako at dumiretso sa bath. It looks unnecessarily big, I filled the tub with warm water and threw some bath bombs.

I dipped in and suddenly felt sleepy. I decided to sleep for some time and set an alarm on my phone. I closed my eyes and let darkness take over.

"So your goal now is to become a whistleblower?! You're no angel! Hindi ka banal! You're still thirsty for people's attention and praise!"

The woman slapped me at pakiramdam ko ay humiwalay ang aking kaluluwa sa katawan ko.

"Pay your people! Hindi mo sila alipin! If you can't pay them, then let them go!"

I answered not knowing where I got the courage to speak. Sinipa ako ng babae at saka ito bumaling sa dalawang lalaki sa likuran niya.

"Throw that girl on the ocean and leave no trace, hero wannabe."

One man covered my head with plastic and it was becoming hard to breathe. Naramdaman ko ang pag angat ko sa lupa at ang pag bagsak sa tubig, I was drowning and cried for help in my head, umaasang may makarinig.

At my last minute, I saw a man standing from a distance, he looked disappointed, "You failed, for the seventh time." Unconsciously, I tried to reach for him and shouted "Father!"

Nagising ako na nasa kama na ako at suot-suot ang nightgown na pinili ko kagabi, napahawak ako sa sintido ko at inalala kung anong nangyari.

Pag angat ko ng tingin ay may dalawang babae sa gilid ng aking higaan.

"Good morning, lady Hailee."

Nag panic ako at dali-daling nagtago sa ilalim ng kumot and check my eyes and the side of my mouth, I even hurriedly brushed my hands through my hair.

"We're here to get you ready for breakfast." Sabi nang isa.

I took a quick shower and they handed me a flowy dress that reached the floor and a pair of sandals, inayos din nila ang aking buhok at nilagyan ng powder ang mukha ko and put tint on my lips.
