Chapter 6: Important Events

(Harith's P.O.V)

He opened the door and I just heard that overpower phrase coming out of his mouth "Don't you dare touch me or you will suffer", Helcurt and Thamuz were right behind him ready to engage into a fight with me if it even crossed my mind to touch him. It was impressive that he had personal bodyguards right from the Abyss. He was smiling and I hated how he showed his teeth, but I couldn't touch him, not yet. I needed Helcurt and Thamuz to get away from him if I wanted to strike. Dyrroth was waiting for me to try, he was smirking, but I knew he was waiting to step into his own range; he didn't fear me. We stared at one another for a long time... my friends were backing away... I gave him small reactions with my eyes. He couldn't keep his eyes away from me, the tension was dense. I had to stay focused on myself, he wanted to play mind games with me, but it was a risk I was not going to experience.

He finally stepped a foot outside, I backed away and so did my friends, Helcurt and Thamuz were following him. He came closer this time more boldly. He thought that his steps were going to give me fear, I must admit... I was a bit scared, taking Dyrroth was not the problem, but having Helcurt and Thamuz alongside with him was. Good thing I had my friends here to back me up. I wanted to play mind tricks with him this time, I bit down on my impulse to pull back and acted as if I had frozen, it was the reaction he wanted. Helcurt and Thamuz went far from Dyrroth, they knew this fight was not with them (although Helcurt and I had history, his presence was intimidating me, but not as before, I was bigger and stronger). Dyrroth laughed as he took a rushing step in and tried to cleave my head with his bare hands. Ready for it, I dodge and move away quickly.
