It's hard living in South Central, Los Angeles.
This story is about four kids living hard lives from gangs, drugs, and the struggle, but one of their lives change while the others stay the same
I walked upstairs and opened Lisa's door. Laughter from Lisa and Kelly stopped quickly.
"I think I should go, bye Lisa" Kelly walked passed me.
"Bye" Lisa smiled.
We looked at each other and she rolled her eyes.
"If you don't want me here, I can fucking go" I said not really caring.
She ignored me and walked to her computer.
"Come on, let's get this over with"
I pulled up a chair and we decided to pick Nevada as our state. I noticed her staring at my back pocket. I followed her eyes and she was looking at my blue bandana. We locked eyes for a second, before she spoke.
"You're really apart of a gang Merlin?"
I looked at her and looked down.
"That's the dumbest shit you could do" She added
"Man you don't care anyway, so leave it alone"
"Whatever Merlin, what you gonna say? I don't hang around you guys anymore? Theirs a reason for that, y'all like living where you live, I don't" I yelled a little.
"You think I asked to leave like this? You think I like to rob or sell drugs? No, but I'm hungry and I gotta eat too" I spat.
She shook her head.
"Everybody ain't lucky like you Lisa, all my white friends live just as bad as me. Yours live in Beverly Hills and shit"
I looked at my pager.
"I'll be back tomorrow, I gotta handle something" I said grabbing my things.
Mr. Harrison pov~ I was leaving out my office and walking to the parking lot, when I seen some men with suits waiting by my car.
"Can I help you?" I asked
"No, the question is can I help you sir?"
"What you mean?"
"Do you know a kid name Merlin Santana?"
"Yes" I said getting extremely angry.
"Sir, I can tell by the expression on your face that you're not a fan of him, so I just come out and say it. I will kill him for $100,000"
"I don't want to get my hands dirty with that"
"Trust me, nobody going to jail"
"Okay, what's your name?" I asked
"Frank Matthews, but you can call me Black Caesar" He said giving me a job with his number.
"I'm Vincent Harrison" I put my hand out.
He shook it.
"You know Mr.Harrison, I like you so imma give you a present today. You'll find out sooner or later what it is"
"Okay Thank you Black Caesar"
"You're welcome"
They let me get inside my car and I drove home.
10:39 pm Merlin pov~ I walked inside my house to see Black Caesar sitting on my couch. I pulled my gun out and pointed it at him. I shut my front door with my gun still pointed.
"Drop it nigga" Somebody said behind me.

All of a sudden, all of Black Caesar homies came from the back with guns out.
"Romeo tomorrow you will break up with Mya Harrison okay"
I didn't say anything.
"OKAY!!!" He spat.
"Alright man" I said
He smiled gestured someone to come to him.
"Get him" He said.
He had a whole gang in my house ready to stomp me in the ground and that's what they did.

I woke up with a busted nose and lip, and a painful headache. I went to clean my nose and lip. All I can think of was death. I got in my bed and went to sleep extremely angry.
Next Morning
I walked in the cafeteria and seen Mya sitting with Tionne and Tray. I turned around and seen a girl name Ashley Banks that I thought was fine.

The bell ring and I knew Mya would be coming out, so I did something crazy. I kissed Ashley deeply.
