(DISCONTINUED) Hol Up- Where The Hell Am I??? [Naruto Various x Reader]

And so it begins...

You opened your eyes only to be blinded by a bitch called the sun

'AH FUCK, MY EYES'

You rolled around on the ground as you writhed in pain. Having gone weeks without ever seeing the light of day you were understandably caught off guard.

It was only after your eyes got adjusted to the light that you realized you were no longer in the safe haven that was your room.

You were now in a forest, but the only thing that went through your mind was,

'DAMN those are some big ass trees'

Well...at least you weren't having a mental breakdown.

As you realized the situation you were currently in, you noticed that you just so happened to wake up next to a lake in which you decided to check yourself out, ya know just in case you had woken up with a third eye or some freaky shit like that

When you looked into the lake you saw a young version of yourself that looked to be around 7 years old. You were wearing a (color) short sleeve shirt with (color) overalls, your (h/c) hair was (h/l) and looked extremely soft and fluffy, your face was smooth and round, and your eyes looked like a brighter version of (e/c).

To put it bluntly, you looked like you were in an anime.

No, scratch that.

EVERYTHING looked like it was in an anime.

To be more specific it looked like you were in Naruto judging by the art style of your surroundings and yourself

'Well shit, I really did end up doing the fanfic thing'

You pinched yourself just to make sure this wasn't just a whack dream or hallucination

'ouch'

Well, that answered your question.

You didn't know what to think and just stared at your reflection for a couple of minutes processing how this was your new reality.

That was until it dawned on you.

'What the hell am I supposed to do now?'

You couldn't just waltz on through this big ass forest and hope that for plot convenience you could just magically find yourself right in front of the gates of Konohagakure, Somehow talk to the Hokage without being suspected as a spy, and get offered an apartment as well as a spot at the academy.

This wouldn't be as easy as the fanfictions make it out to be right?

Well...aha...you see...

THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED

Basically, you just wandered around the forest for a bit before stumbling upon the GIANT gates of Konohagakure. There you met Kotetsu and Izumo and bada bing bada boom you somehow ended up in the third Hokage's office.

"So, you're saying you woke up here with no prior memories at all?" The third Hokage's brows were furrowed as he contemplated what you had just said.

"Yeah..." You faked a sniffle with your teary eyes as your hands were behind you clutched together tightly

You'd already come this far with tons of fanfiction cliches in the mix so you might as well pull the amnesia card on them and make them pity you to assure your chances of survival.

It was manipulative but you gotta do what you gotta do, besides, it wasn't like you were gonna start a war. At least...not yet.

"Do you at least know your name?" his voice was soft and his features showed sympathy

"I-It's (Y/N)" Man, you were shocked at how you somehow managed to pull off the act of a scared child because of how much you lacked the skills to do so previously

"I could arrange for you to live with another orphan, however, you would have to become a student at the academy as well, would that be alright with you?" 

"that's more than okay! thank you" You wiped away your tears and smiled.

You weren't expecting it to be this easy but you weren't complaining at least now you had a place to stay and a spot at the academy it was all coming along perfectly.

The Hokage told you to wait for a couple of minutes before he summoned a random shinobi to go fetch the orphan you would be rooming with,

You stood around awkwardly as you immersed yourself into your thoughts

'I wonder who the poor soul who has to deal with my shit will be. Perhaps it'll be Naruto...I wouldn't be surprised with all the clichés I've experienced throughout my time here. Well I suppose it would be alright to befriend him...maybe I could even gain plot armour by sticking with him'

Then you remembered Neji

'Uhhh...or not....and I could become cannon fodder...'

Just as you started rambling in your head about the pros and cons of befriending the main character the random shinobi that the Hokage had called upon before had come back with someone, and that someone was the one and only Naruto Uzumaki

"What is it gramps why am I here?"

"Naruto from here on onwards you will be living alongside (Y/N)" The Hokage gestured towards you

"Hi there! As you already know my name is (Y/N) and I hope we can be friends" You smiled at him and waved excitedly

Well, it was too late to not befriend him and besides...

He was just really cute! You had a weak spot for that.

"Oh! Hi! My name's Naruto Uzumaki and someday I'm gonna be the Hokage! Believe it!" 

"I'm sure you will my guy" you gave him a thumbs up

"I'm glad you both get along, so Naruto if you could show (Y/N) where they'll be living now"

Naruto nodded enthusiastically, held your hand, and took off with you in tow

You cursed like a sailor as you were practically dragged through the entire village

"Naruto! My ass is literally on FIRE! AAA-"

Naruto stopped and started freaking out as you ran around like a chicken without it's head while trying to put out the fire

A/N: I apologize if any characters are OOC (Out Of Character) I'm not very experienced when it comes to writing so some characters may be weird/odd
