...

And freakin dead.

"I don't like lipstick!!! It's gross!!!"

"I don't care!!! It compliments your hair, eyeshadow, and outfit perfectly!!!"

Looking back at her, I see her catching up to me as she runs around the couch.

"But it's messy!!! It gets every where and-..." my words are cut off as I end up running straight into my living room wall.

Gianna ends up clutching her stomach while falling to the ground dramatically, bursting into a fit of laughter, "How even-..."

"Oww..." I wince rubbing my forehead.

"I would question how you ended up running into a wall but this isn't the first time-..."

"HEY!!!" I whine, cursing Ashton for telling all our friends the real story of how our first conversation went.

Let's just say that everyone was basically crying from how hard they were laughing at the truth.

But I mean... did they really expect anything less from me?

"That's what you get for running away from your destiny."

"What destiny?"

"This!" She holds up the lipstick, while I glare at the little tube in her hand.

"But it's-..."

"Gross, sticky, I know. But once it is on I promise-..."

"No."

"Julie-..." she whines, standing up and walking towards me before pulling me up from the ground.

"Let me at least make sure that there isn't a bruise. Your date night could turn into my funeral if there is one." She says, examining my forehead before letting out a sigh of relief.

"No lipstick?" I pout, giving her my best puppy eyes.

She looks at the lipstick before looking back at me, letting out a sigh, "Fine! I won't make you wear it, but at least wear the dress I picked out for you."

She walks towards the duffel back that she brought in and pulls out a neatly folded summer dress.

It was a light shade of pink, the same color of the lip gloss, which is probably why she was so persistent on me putting it on.

"It's so pretty!" I couldn't help but stare at it dreamingly, taking the dress from her hands while examining it closer.

"Thank goodness you think so. As soon as I saw it at the mall, I knew that it would look perfect on you."

My eyes snap up to hers, "Wait how much was it? I will pay you back-..."

She quickly cuts off my words, "Actually, it was all Ashton's money. He wanted me to find you the perfect outfit tonight, no matter the cost."

My heart clenches at her words, looking back at the dress with a small smile dancing on my lips.

You really are something huh, Ashy Pashy

I feel my hands start to get shaky as I look out the window of the car.

Not knowing where Gianna was taking me for my date with Ashton, I was hoping this would give me some sort of hint.

But the only thing that I could get an understanding of was that we were going north and were getting farther and farther away from civilization.
