After Lena's arrest, everyone took the hint and slowly began to leave the party, saying goodbye to Maia and giving Kara sad glances. After everyone has left, Alex helps Kara clean up as they wait for Eliza and their family lawyer J'onn with the official details on the case. Maia can sense the tension in the air and grows cranky quickly.

"Mama! Mee! Mama! Mee!" The child screams suddenly, banging her toys. Kara looks down at the child sadly and quickly picks her up, rocking her back and forth.

"I know baby, Mommy will be back. It's okay." Kara repeats, trying to not only convince Maia but herself too.

"Kara go calm her down. I got it out here."

"You sure?"

"Yeah, I'll let you know when Eliza is here."

Kara nods and walks over to the bathroom, taking Maia out of her dinosaur costume and fills up the bathtub. Maia always loved playing in the water and it was always a way for Kara to get her to settle down quickly. Today however is very much different. Maia would not stop screaming when Kara even tried to put her in the tub, pulling at her mother's hair.

"Baby you need to get in. You got icing all over you."

"Mama..." Maia whispers, pointing to the tub.

"You want me to go in with you?" Kara asks, setting the child down on the counter. Kara quickly strips out of her clothes and clings onto Maia, getting into the tub. She fills the water with bubbles and gives Maia her toys as she cleans the stickiness off the child. After she was clean, Maia climbs onto Kara's chest and rests her head on the crevice of her neck.

"I miss her too." Kara whispers, planting a kiss onto her daughter's little forehead. She continues to rub lines up and down Maia's back as the child slowly falls asleep. Suddenly tears begin to slip out of Kara's eyes and within seconds it grows into full sobs. She did her best to keep them quiet, not wanting to scare Alex or wake up Maia.

The day has been such a roller coaster. One second they were celebrating their daughter's birthday smiling and having fun, and the next thing she knew the police show up at her door, dragging Lena away in handcuffs. She had just gotten Lena back and now she's out of her life again. And for what? Lena did nothing but protect those girls, she didn't deserve to be arrested for what the Luthors do or even associated. She isn't like them and will never be. If only the world could see that too. For awhile maybe she thought it was her own fault, if she had never let Lena go, could things be different? She would run that scenario in her mind over and over again, knowing it could've possibly prevented a lot of heart ache.

"Kara?" Alex knocks, walking in. Kara quickly gathers herself together and wipes away her tears before Alex walks in.

"Mom and J'onn are here. I can take Maia and put her to bed. But take your time."

"Thanks I'll be out in a second." Kara sighs, carefully maneuvering Maia off her chest and into a towel. Alex scoops up the child and walks her into Kara's bedroom as Kara slides out of the water and into pajamas. She quickly wipes off the rest of her runny makeup and walks out into the kitchen.

"Kara long time no see." J'onn smiles, hugging the girl. "I do wish it was under better circumstances."

"Same here."

"Okay so I'm not going to torture you any longer and let's get to it." Eliza sighs, taking a seat at the bar. "So when Lena agreed to give us Lex at first, she knew that most likely she was going to get arrested too. But she begged us for a week before getting taken in and the FBI complied."

"You knew about this and didn't tell me??" Kara scolds, pushing up her glasses.

"It's all confidential honey you know that."
