A/N: Heyy guys I'm back! Just a heads up there's mentioning of sexual assault and rape so if that isn't something you're comfortable with I'd skip this one. But yeah otherwise, hope you enjoy and more coming soon (probably really slow though I'm sorry school is coming up real quick).

Two Months Later

"Here you go kiddos, good luck on your tests okay?" Kara beams, handing the teenage girls their coffees.

"Thank you Kara." The girls reply. The bell of the shop dings and in walks James with a babbling Maia in his arms.

"Mama! Mama! Mama!" Maia squeals, making grabby hands towards Kara.

"Hi there Maia Papaya! You have fun with James at the park?"

"Fuhhh! Fuhhh!" Maia squeals, bouncing in Kara's arms.

"Glad to hear it." Kara smiles. "Hey James thanks for taking her."

"Anytime." James smiles, kissing her cheek. "We still on for dinner at 8:00?"

"Yes we are. Alex is in town and decided to take her for the night."

"Alright see you tonight Kara. Bye Maia."

Although Kara wanted to take things very slowly, she's finally opening up more to James. He's honestly been such a big help and has cared for both herself and Maia unlike anyone has before. She is forever grateful that he has come back into her life and can't wait to see where this goes.

Kara leaves her shift for the night and drives home with Maia bouncing along to NSYNC in the back. She hands the baby over to Alex as she prepares for her date. Even though she's been on dates with James before, this one she's incredibly nervous for. It's her first date back
from Lena and she almost felt guilty for moving on. But at the end of the day, she knows it's what's best for her and it's time to turn a new leaf. She hopes into the shower, washes away the coffee smell off her body, and shaved in the areas that needed it. She then lathers on an obnoxious amount of lotion and makes her way to her vanity. She decides to go with a more neutral look, wanting her outfit to do all the impressing. Layering on taupe eyeshadows and blush, she glides on her lip gloss and walks over to her closet. After playing fashion show with herself and her mirror, she finally settles for an off the shoulder baby blue dress that flowed to just above her knees. She walks out to the living room and Alex looks at her younger sister dumbfounded.

"Wowww look at you. Doesn't Mama look stunning?" Alex beams, bouncing Maia on her legs.

"Oh stop flattering me." Kara chuckles, planting kisses on the cheek for both Alex and Maia.  "Have fun you two. Thanks for watching her. I'll be home around 11:00."

"No rush. Do what you gotta do." Alex winks, watching her put her shoes on. Kara sticks out her tongue at her and blows one last kiss before walking out the door. She meets James out in front of the apartment building and his face made Kara blush so hard that her cheeks were as red as tomatoes.

"Wow... gorgeous. Just beautiful." James gasps, opening the door for her.

"Not too bad yourself Mr. Olsen."
