Ninjago Headcanons (Taking Requests)

This covers what ancestry I think their parents are and how much the Ninja gained from them appearance wise. And don't worry, I'll discuss exactly how I see their appearances later.

Kai- Korean-Hispanic. I think Kai took his appearance after his mother who has Hispanic ancestry. He has his mother's skin tone, eye/hair color, and body type. His eye shape and height comes from his father's Korean heritage but that's about it, Kai looks exactly like his mother for the most part.

Jay- British-Irish. His hair, skin, and freckles he gets from his blood mom, who's Irish, while he gets his height, body type, and eye color from his blood father, who's British. Like Kai, he takes mainly from his mother's appearance 

Zane- Russian-Moroccan. Dr. Julien didn't actually model Zane after himself. He wanted Zane to have the body type and facial structure of a Russian but gave him the skin and eye color of a Moroccan. This actually resulted in Zane being self-conscious about his skin color, but we'll discuss that later.

Cole- Italian-Ethiopian-Irish. Cole gets his eyes and height from his mom who has Irish ancestry and his skin, hair, and eyebrows from his father, who is Italian-Ethiopian. He's mostly a perfect mixture of his mother and father's DNA. Much like Zane, Cole was also self-conscious about his skin tone and the two bonded over it.

Lloyd- Chinese-American. Lloyd actually looks more like his father, who has Chinese heritage, than his mother, taking his skin, hair, and eye color. He gained his height from his mother, however, who is an American-German. (I really had to think about whether Lloyd and Garmadon were Japanese or Chinese and eventually settled on the latter).

Nya- Korean-Hispanic. Unlike her older brother, Nya took after her father's Korean appearance instead of her mother's. While Nya did get her mother's face, height, and body shape, she got everything else from her father, spanning from eye color to hair texture. She's basically his spitting image which is a bit of a surprise. 

Skylar- Thai-Hispanic. She gets the Thai from her father, who she looks more like, and the Hispanic from her mother. She gets her skin tone from both of her parents while she takes her father's face and eye shape. She got her mother's lips and body type along with her sarcastic personality.

Pixal- Swedish-Bulgarian. Borg wanted her to have a very regal beauty about her and gave her the facial and body structure of a Swedish woman, which includes height, while her actual face is modeled more from the Bulgarian appearance such as nose and eye shape. 

Morro- American-Filipino. I'm not exactly sure why I feel this, but I do. I think his mother was of Filipino blood and his father was a white American. He ended up being a blend between his mother and father, of both attributes and DNA. He's tall and gangly like his dad, but lean muscled, tan skinned and has his mother's strong facial bone structure. (and just for extra tidbits, his personality is most like his mother's who was cunning and hot headed.)
