Just over a month later
Your POV
Over the past month, you had gotten incredibly close to the boys volleyball team. You had become their manager. You were at every morning practice and afternoon practice. You even practiced with the boys. The boys had gotten used to you really fast. Y'all were all best friends. You can't help but think about the one time on the weekend, where the guys decided a spur of the moment decision to go to the beach for the day was a great idea. You played beach volleyball with the boys and did a bit of tanning. You hadn't gotten in the water all day and that upset the boys. So Kuroo and Yamamoto decided to grab you by the legs/knees and your forearm/armpit. The ran with you in their arms the rest of the guys trailing behind. They ban to the edge of the pier swinging you before releasing you and throwing you in the water. All the guys were laughing. Even Kenma was. Until you climbed on top of the pier, and chased after them that you would kill them. You caught up to all of them easily and they all received a ball to the back of the head. Honestly it was a good day though.

Sugawara's POV (lol yeah)
It was Daichi's day off. As Asahi and I called it. It's the only practice he ever skips. It's the day that (Y/N) moved to America. He listens to this one particularly song every time. (Song above) it's the only song he listens to and he just has it on loop for hours. All I know is it's about how without her in the world there's not much and how every minute of every hour he misses her. He skips school these days too. He misses her so much. She was his everything. Daichi hasn't seen her since he was 10. (You are a year younger if you haven't caught that) Kageyama walked up to me. " hey. Where is Daichi? He never misses a practice." Hinata came bounding over. "Yeah! Where is the captain?" He was jumping up and down like his usual explosive self. Tsukishima chimed in with a, "You do know he has a personal life? Oh but the King can't handle not having all his loyal subjects at his beckon call." Kageyama looked like he was gonna kill Tsukishima. 'I can't stop this. This is why we need Daichi.' I thought.

Your POV
It was a week till training camp. You were really excited to see other teams in action. You were also excited to spend more time with the boys. 'Like a big sleepover!' You thought even though you knew you would have to stay in a different room.
1 week later
You were on the bus with the boys and you decided it's about time you taught them Tik Tok dances. It was hard to explain from your seat, but soon all of the knew the renegade by heart. You were gonna make them do it when you got off the bus. The drive was actually short and you all got off. Nekoma was the first team to get there. Now it was time to see them do the renegade. Kenma wouldn't do it. No surprise there, but at least he learned it. Lev looked hilarious doing it. His lanky body did not suit dancing at all. None of the guys quite got the hip movement at the end which was hilarious. You died of laughter and some of the guys laughed to while others gave playful glares. After that you all headed in to start setting up courts.
Time Skip
All the teams had showed up. Even though we weren't supposed to play games today, all the teams wanted to get in a couple sets so that's what we did. And warmup began. You were on water duty at first. That gave you a good time to look at the teams. You saw a guy who looked a lot like Daichi on the Karasuno team, but you were probably going insane. What are the odds of that? Kuroo then called you over. "Hey (Y/N). Can you do receives while Yaku stretches a bit more? We don't want to over work him before games start." You nodded. "Yeah no problem." It made sense this warmup was a hard one on Yaku. You had Kenma setting to every player and then spiking. Yaku has to receive all of them and try to put them in the bin. That's a lot of work covering an entire half of a court. I have no problem doing it. The guys spikes were of course all over the place. Each of them having a preference, but then the god damn Kuroo had to challenge. He spiked straight down an inch away from the bin. And of course you were still in the back row from the previous receive. You sprinted and dived straight down. You scraped your chin, but you had gotten under it. It went up to an acceptable height to serve and dropped in the bin. "Huh" you panted heavily. "I'm going to kill you Kuroo." He just smiles and said "Nice receive (Y/N)." What you hadn't noticed is the other teams had noticed you getting on to help the team. They thought that was insane. None of their managers would ever do that, and they had to see if you were any good. You pushed yourself off the ground. "God damn. Really Kuroo? Now my chin hurts." You said to yourself as you walked off the court because games were going to start.

Daichi's POV (here you go)
Hinata being Hinata got distracted, but it ended up being a good thing. He noticed that Nekoma was having their manager take receives. Her receives were absolutely perfect. She was always perfectly under them no matter where she was on the court to where the ball was. She looked really familiar. She looked like the girl I grew up with, but I probably just missed her. Then something crazy happened. Kuroo said her name. It was (Y/N). That's the same name as the girl I grew up with. It's too big of a coincidence. Or is it not? Well the games were starting and we were playing Nekoma first. Kuroo and I shook hands. But Tanaka and Yamamoto's conversation caught my attention. "You got a hot babe manager now, too!" Tanaka exclaimed. Man classic Tanaka. "Yeah. All the way from America! Isn't she amazing?" America? That's where you went 7 years ago. Could it really be you? I'm determined to find out tonight. I hadn't realized we had surged and Nekoma spiked the ball right at me. "Daichi!" Nishinoya yelled. I snapped out of it. "Sorry guys. I'm ready to play now."
