NO ONES P.O.V

It was Christmas time in the Jackson household, and Sally was looking forward to seeing Percy and Annabeth. They were now 20 and had married that year during the Summer at Camp Half Blood.

They had tried to be in touch, but with the new start to their careers and all the work of trying to stay alive with all the monster attacks, they hadn't really gotten to see one another that much. This caused Percy and Annabeth to agree to spending their first Christmas as a married couple at Sally's house. Percy was looking forward to seeing Estelle again, she would now be three, because there was a seventeen year age gap between the two of them.

Mr and Mrs. Jackson arrived at Sally and Paul's apartment building, and not having a key to the house anymore, knocked on the door. Estelle opened the door with the cutest little onesie you'd ever seen, even though it was early afternoon. It was a picture of the night sky, and the moon, though black on its inside was outlined with beautiful bright, vibrant colours. The sky had some glittery colours itself and there was a picture of a tree placed right in the middle of it, it looked like something out of a dream, but Percy and Annabeth weren't gawking over that, (well, maybe a little) what they were gawking over was the giant smile that seemed to get impossibly larger as she saw them.

"PERCY, ANNABETH! MOMMY, DADDY, PERCY AND ANNABETH ARE HERE!" Estelle jumped right into the middle of Annabeth and Percy, so they both caught her. She had Sally's warm brown eyes, and they looked so soft with her glee, it was unimaginable. Sally came out of the kitchen, a smile on her face as she saw Percy and Annabeth looking at Estelle that it reminded her of how cute a family they would be, but she knew that they wanted to wait about three years before they had a child so that they could find a nice home, get enough money to sustain a healthy lifestyle and try and be as good a parent as they could be with learning a bit about it first. She found that a smart idea, and wished that she had managed to give Percy a good childhood, but she looked at her not so much of a baby anymore baby boy and thought of how much of a smart, handsome, less scruffy (though his hair was as ever pig sty), kind man he had become.

It was Christmas Eve, and Percy and Annabeth were going to be spending the whole week there, then going back to their home to celebrate New Years with their friends at Camp Half Blood.

"Hi mom!" Percy said as he put down Estelle, she didn't like that though and wanted him to keep holding her, so Annabeth carried her. Percy approached his mother and hugged her. "Hi Sally." Annabeth gave Estelle to Percy and as Annabeth and Sally were hugging one another, Percy and his little sister were busy making faces at one another. "So, how are the not so newly-weds?" Sally questioned as her son and daughter-in-law got their bags and brought them to Percy's old room, which had now been turned into a guest room. "Oh, we're doing fine." They said at the same time, then burst out laughing. Sally sighed to herself, glad that things were going well, she hadn't expected anything less.

A bit later that afternoon, Sally decided to make blue chocolate chip cookies. Annabeth came to help, meanwhile Percy was just playing with Estelle. They heard an excited squeal from the living room. "Prince Percy, please save me from this tower!" At the sound of that, Annabeth and Sally went to the door, and saw that Estelle was on the sofa, giggling uncontrollably, with a tiara in her hair, and Percy, smiling very broadly was at the other end of the room. "Of course my princess, I shall save you from the evil monster who has stolen you!" Percy puffed out his chest and let out a fake battle cry. "For peanut butter!" Percy walked to the opposite side of the room, holding up a capped Riptide as a sword and a sofa cushion as his shield. When he reached Estelle he picked her up and started spinning her around. "P-Percy!" She screamed and giggled at the same time. Annabeth and Sally looked at them and Annabeth couldn't help but smile as she saw Percy acting so comfortable and happy around children, and couldn't help thinking what a great father he'd be. She mentally hit herself, oh no, I'm getting baby fever. Annabeth and Sally went back to the kitchen to finish the cookies.

They had a very nice dinner filled with catching up and trying to make a schedule for what they were doing. Once they finished dinner they went to the living room and watched a movie together with blue cookies as a snack. About halfway through the movie Estelle fell asleep, so Percy picked her up and carried her to her room. Annabeth followed him to her room and smiled at him. Annabeth smiled at him as he placed her in her bed. "Wise Girl, you're staring," He said as he kissed her nose, Annabeth blushed.

They finished watching the movie and Percy and Annabeth decided to get ready for bed. "You can get the bathroom first sweetie." Annabeth went out of the bathroom and saw Percy shirtless with only his pyjama bottoms on. Every time she saw him without a shirt she still blushed, even if she had seen him with a lot less clothes on. "Annabeth, you're staring again." Annabeth turned even more red, "I'm not Seaweed Brain, though her face said otherwise. "AW, you're adorable Wise Girl."Percy pecked her lips, then went into the bathroom, smile still broad on his face, Annabeth rolled her eyes at her Seaweed Brain, but she too was blushing.

Percy came out of the bathroom and Annabeth was sitting on the bed, and in Percy's eyes, even though she was just sitting their reading a book, she looked cuter then she had ever been. He jumped onto the bed and went under the covers. He went behind Annabeth and hugged her back. Annabeth put down her book and snuggled into Percy. Annabeth loved doing Big spoon and Little spoon, she always felt so safe with his muscular arms around her and though held in a strong grip also felt so gentle around her. "Annabeth,"Percy whispered into her ear, "Yes," She responded in a little murmur, tracing patterns around his hand, "Look up." Annabeth moved her head around and looked at the ceiling. Sticky taped onto it was some mistletoe, she felt a grin rise up to her face. "You sly little Seaweed Brain." Annabeth turned around and looked at Percy, he had a little smirk, on his face, "Well, if there is one reason to stop feeling so comfortable, I guess it would just be to..." Annabeth didn't get to finish her sentence, before Percy put his lips on hers, shutting her up immediately, and making her loose herself in it. They broke apart,  panting a bit, then only a few seconds later, Percy went and kissed her again, wrapping his hands around her waist. Annabeth put her hands in his hair, ruffling it up more then it already was and yanking at it a tiny bit, she felt Percy smile against her lips. Percy reached over to turn off the bed side light. "You know Annabeth, we can be pretty quiet when we want to be." Annabeth smiled at him, "Oh trust me, I know." She winked at Percy and that was all it took to convince him. Even if you were standing outside the door, you would have only heard the sound of the bed moving.
