This chapter is about (Y/N)'s full childhood. I recommend you read it and not skip it to the next chapter.

A baby was born. Specifically (Y/N) (L/N).

-

(Y/N) was a bright one in her toddler years. She always had a smile on her face no matter what situation she was in. She was also well behaved. She never talked back to anyone and never lied.

Quite surprising that a little kid could be so well behaved. Everyone thought she was perfect.

That's why she got bullied.

As she got older, the worse the bullying got. At first it was just insults, but then it got violent. Very violent..

"You think you're so perfect, (Y/N)? Well you're..dumb!" The kid laughed at her, soon everyone was laughing.

(Y/N) always looked forward to coming home. It was when she didn't get hurt.

"Welcome home, sweetie. I made PB&J! Your fav—"

(Y/N)'s father. The best man that ever lived, in (Y/N)'s opinion. Currently, the man was looking at his daughter in shock.

"Oh, bambina" Translation: Baby. He rushed over to her and knelt down to see his daughter's eyes filled with tears. "What happened?" He asked.

"They hurt me..really bad.." she told him.

He couldn't just go to the principal. It was because they once did and he didn't care.

(Y/N) went to a public school. They were on the poor side so they couldn't afford the money to go to a private school.

Everyone at the public school is mean. All of them..

As (Y/N)'s father was treating the wounds on her body, her mother came in. That woman is unreadable. At one point she's happy and then she goes sad.

That woman never loved (Y/N).

"What happened this time?" Mother asked. It was then Papa rolled his eyes and got up. "Act like you care, Viola." The woman then walked over to her daughter and softly twirled a piece of her hair. "She has to fight back. It's just she's too weak." She spat at her daughter, who shamelessly looked at the floor.

Don't make Mama mad..That was the rule (Y/N) always followed.

Mama and Papa didn't get along so well. Being more specific, Papa didn't like Mama so much but Mama loved Papa. I wouldn't blame him though, she's a rat.

-

(Y/N) stood silently beside her now dead father. Cancer took him away from her, and she was  devastated.

Mama looked mad more than sad. It scared her. It scared her a lot, actually.

Now that Papa is gone, who knows what she might do to her. She always told (Y/N) how she wanted to kill her. And now that Papa is not at (Y/N)'s defense, it might actually happen.

"Let's go, you little shit."

-

After the long period of time Mother has abused (Y/N), she finally was free. She was just notified that her Mother committed suicide and was quickly rushed to the hospital.

(Y/N) stood in front of her mother, who was currently laying in a hospital bed. She just quietly watched her.

(Y/N) wanted to smile at the scene, but people were around, so she couldn't. It was then when a nurse tapped her on the shoulder.

"I'm so sorry, but she won't make it.." she told (Y/N). (Y/N) winced in pain. The soft tap on her shoulder hurt her.

How pathetic is she, (Y/N) thought to herself.

"Are you okay?" The nurse asked, worried.

At that moment, (Y/N) thought about telling her the truth. That she was abused by the woman in front of her.

"She hurt me." (Y/N) pointed at her mother. "That's why I'm not crying, miss. You would think I would be after seeing my mother in this hospital bed." She told the nurse very coldly.

The nurse looked at (Y/N). She's shocked. "Those bruises..did she do that?"

When (Y/N) nodded, she could see the terrified expression on the nurse's face. A face she would never forget.

Soon after that, she was in a hospital bed. A doctor was currently healing her wounds. Apparently, she was also dehydrated. (Y/N) was also on the skinny side, so they gave her food.

"I knew your father." The doctor told (Y/N). She decided to keep quiet and just nod in response.

-

After (Y/N) graduated, she went to Medical School. She was always top of the class. While she was there, she made friends. She wasn't used to being friends with anyone, so she was awkward around them.

When her friends talked to her about it, (Y/N) told them about her past. (Y/N) thought they would leave after that, but to her surprise, they didn't.

During Medical School, she learned many things. Not just how to be a doctor, but to actually live like a normal human being.

The time when (Y/N) smiled, she got surprised. The last time she smiled was when her father was around.

What amazing times the two of them shared.

...

"Are you (Y/N)? The daughter of Emilio (L/N)?" A woman asked me. Emilio (L/N), my father's name. I nodded in response. Who is this woman and how does she know my father?

"My name is Kuchel. Me and your father go way back. We were childhood friends. During that time, he gave me this necklace." Kuchel handed over a diamond necklace.

A tear slipped through my eyes.

"Thank you."

-

Present Time

"Where did you get that necklace, (Y/N)?" Levi asked me. The question startled me. Who gave me this necklace? I cannot remember her name..

"From my dad's friend. What a nice woman she was."
