The next day the core five were in their class as the Fairy Godmother rushed to them with a big smile.

"Children, excuse me, um, as you know, this Sunday is Family Day here at Auradon Prep." Fairy Godmother told them as they nodded since Celina had explained this to her daughter. "And because your parents can't come due to... uh...distance... we've arranged for a special treat."

Fairy Godmother walked over to a TV monitor with excitement and giddy, Fairy Godmother clicked on the monitor revealing the core five's parents.

"I don't see anything." Maleficent complained. "Nor do I hear..."

Fairy Godmother called over the gang who walked over to the monitor with Carlos taking Dude, who was wearing a jacket similar to the one Carlos had, with them.

"Is this thing on?" Maleficent questioned clicking the remote. "It's broken! I hate electronics." She threw the remote away as the screen appeared for the villains.

"Evie! It's mommy!" Evil Queen smiled which Evie waved too. "Look how beautiful. You know what they say 'the poison apple doesn't fall far from the tree'."

"Don't you mean the weeds?" Maleficent smirked causing Cruella to laugh as Hades rolled his eyes. "Oh! Who's the old bat?" Cruella frowned pointing to her.

"This is the Fairy Godmother." Vanessa smiled putting her hands on the Fairy Godmother's shoulders. "Still doing tricks with eggplants?" Maleficent scoffed.

"I turned a pumpkin into a beautiful carriage!" Fairy Godmother corrected. "You really couldn't give Cinderella till one a.m.?" Maleficent chuckled. "I mean, really. What, the little hamsters had to be back on their little wheels?"

Maleficent, Evil Queen, Cruella, and Jafar laughed as Hades sighed shaking his head.

"They were mice!" Fairy Godmother exclaimed as the core five nodded apologizing for their parents. "They were mice." Fairy Godmother walked to the side.

"Hi, mom." Mal greeted. "Mal!" Maleficent exclaimed.

Hades happily flicked Maleficent's head trying to remind her to stay calm.

"M-miss you." Maleficent stuttered sending Hades a look. "You children are never far from our thought." Jafar told them.

"I got it." Maleficent glanced at Jafar coldly. "How long must mommy wait to see you? You know mommy's not good at waiting." Maleficent told her daughter.

"I can vouch for that myself." Hades smirked as Maleficent rolled her eyes as Vanessa and Mal shared a look. "There's a big coronation coming up. I think probably sometime after that." Mal explained.

"When?" Maleficent questioned. "Friday! Ten a.m." Mal sighed.

"You sure I can't see you before that?" Maleficent smiled. "I don't know what I'll do if I don't get my hands on that magic-" Hades slapped her upside the head.

"You!" Maleficent saved. "You little nugget that I love so much!"

Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella made kissy faces behind her as Hades sent the three a annoyed look for going to far.

"Yes, I completely understand, mother." Mal nodded. "Carlos! Is that a dog?" Cruella questioned her son.

"Yes, yes, baby, I do understand. It would make the perfect size for earmuffs." Cruella chuckled playing with her vest. "Leave Carlos and the dog out of this." Vanessa glared at her as her hair lit blue.

Her friends looked shocked as it never happened but couldn't help but feel happy for her. Hades saw what happened and couldn't help but smirk being proud of her.
