I was at home watching Rob and Big while eatin some nachos. This is what my weekends consist of. And avoiding Amber. She likes to come by every now and then. She likes me now that i have a job and more money than her. Jacob said im just being ridiculous but i know thats the reason she wants me back.

"Mason!!" I heard someone yell at the door.

"Go away, random citizen!" i yelled back as i took a sip of my pepsi.

"Its Jacob! Open up, dude."

I sighed as i slowly got out of my chair. No matter how long i take to do stuff, Jacob doesnt get mad. Well, when you have three daughters you kinda have to have patience.

I opened the door and looked at him. "What?" i asked, showing no emotion.

He walked right past me like it was his apartment.

"Come right in." i sarcasticly said as i closed the door.

"You need to get out more" He said, looking around at my messy apartment.

"You need to ask before you barge into someones house like that. I guess we both have something on our to-do-list" i said, crossing my arms.

He gave me that 'shut up' look.

I put my hands up like i was surrendering and chuckled. "My bad. Didnt know i struck a nerve."

He just rolled his eyes. "Go get dressed."

I looked at him like he was the craziest peson in Florida. "What?"

"You heard me. Get dressed. Clean yourself up and this pig pen you call 'home'"

"Ouch." I said, putting a hand over my heart. "I love this place. ANd who in the hell told you to come over here, march right in like you own the place and demand me to do shit?" I chuckled. "You got me twisted."

Jacob chuckled. "I set you up on a blind date."

I shook my head. "Thats all bad. Im not going."

"She looks like Jessica Alba"

"Oh. Why didnt you say so? Ill be done in an hour. Gotta look gooood" i said, running a hand through my messed up hair.

"Whatever dude. Later!" then with that, Jacob left.

I walked to the bathroom then fixed myself up.

~(^_^)~

I walked inside of Olive Garden with Jacob. I looked around for his wife because my blind date would be with her. Apparently they were friends.

I was Delilah, Jacobs wife, talking to a girl with Auburn hair. He back was turned to us so i couldnt see her face.

We walked over there. I was so nervous i was blushing up a storm. . . Until i saw her face.

She has straight bangs, big, old lady glasses, yellow teeth with braces, something was stuck in her braces, she has so many freckles. Or, is that acne? I dont even know. But it was disgusting.

"Hi. Im Marry" she said, sticking out her hand.

I went to grab it then she pulled back and sneezed on it. She sloppily wiped her nose, smearing the boogers everywhere on her face. Then she extended her hand once again with that goofy smile.

"I dont shake hands. Sorry" i lied.

"Oh i see." she said with a lisp. "Youre a hugger!"

Before i could even reply, she hugged me.

When she let go i gave her a disgusted smile then sat down across from her, forcing Jacob to sit next to that, that, thing.

~(^_^)~

"I had a great time, Mason" Marry said as we were standing at the door.

"Sorry about your shirt" she pointeed to the stain she made when she spilled her spagetti on me.

"Its okay. I barely wear it" i shrugged.

She smiled. Then she slowly closed her eyes and awkwardly leaned in. I paniced.

"Should i kiss her and get it over with? Never call? Move to Las Vegas and Change my name to Albert McLovin? Dye my hair blonde? Or not kiss her and break her heart even more? Crush it in to tiny wittle piece?"

I decided to lie. The one thing i do best. I put my finger to her lips, forcing her to open her eyes. "We cant. Im sorry" i said, sounding sincere.

"Why not?" she pulled away, looking like a child who just lost his mom.

"I just got out of a long relationship and its too soon for me to be dating." I said, dramaticly.

She nodded. "I understand. I just lost my boyfriend in a car accident and im still trying to recover from it." She sighed. "I miss em so much"

I felt like a douche. I kissed her on the forehead then gave her a hug. "One day youll find a boy who loves you as much as your boyfriend loved you. Maybe even more"

She hugged back then sniffed. I knew she was crying. "You think so?"

I lightly grabbed her head then made her look me in the eyes. "I know so" then i flashed her a reall smile.

She smiled back. I wiped away her tears then pulled away.

"Thank you. Mason. For everything." she hugged me one last time before going inside her house.

As she closed the door i smiled. I walked back to my car feeling good. I feel like i just helped somebody. Kinda sorta changed their life. That feels good.

~A Week Later ~

I was at the coffee shop, enjoying my weekly Sunday coffee. I was sitting alone, like every week. Its normal for me. But i hate to see those lovey-dovey couples. Its like "Okay. We get it. Youre dating." i saw one walk in laughing like they just saw the funniest thing ever.

"Babe, youre so funny" the girl said.

The guy shrugged. "I love to hear your laugh."

Then they kissed. I rolled my eyes at them.

I looked around and saw these girls staring at me, whispering.

"Yes! Im at a table by myself!" i yelled as i threw my hands in the air.

They looked at eachother, then got their stuff and left.

"Whyd you do that?" i heard a female voice say.

I looked up at her and she looked beautiful. Silky brown hair, dark choclate eyes, pink lips, and smooth skin. With nice, straight, white teeth.

"They were looking at me funny" I told her, as i hid my feelings.

She giggled. "YOure so weird. Im Naomi. But my friends call me Mimi." she said, extending her hand.

I looked at it. Then took it. "Mason. My friends call me Mason. But you could just call me- -"

"MAson?" she guessed.

"Yeah! How'd you know?" i asked.

She chuckled then sat across from me. "Lucky guess" she shrugged.

~(^_^)~

We talked and talked until the shop closed.

"Well, it was nice talking with you" i told her, my hands in my pocket.

She hugged me. I was suprised but hugged back. Then wwe pulled away.

"Lemme see your phone?" she asked.

I got my iphone out my pocket then gave it to her. She put her number in then gave me my phone back. "Id like to do this again" she smiled at me, then bit her lip.

I smiled at how cute she looked. "Maybe next Sunday."

"Thatll be great. Well, bye, Mason. Drive saftly." she said, as she started walking away.

"YOu too!" i yelled after her. She turned around to flash me a quick smile. I watched as she unlocked her altima then got inside and drove away.

I stared at her contact.

I smiled as her face popped into my head.
