My mum was vaccuming, so I went up to her and because of my lack of confidence, I spoke in what she could understand as a joke - Nac Mac Feegle. Yes yes, I know it wasn't the point, but as I said, lack of confidence.
Me: arrgh! The wee big scunner! It sucks up all the dirt and makes us... Clean.
Mum: aye, it makes us clean.
Me: aye
Mum: aye (continues vaccuming)
