Hindi ako makapaniwala sa nakita. My throat went dry. Nakatingin lang ako sa larawan sa harap. Jella Ong is smiling. Napalunok ako. Kahapon ito!

I scroll down the article a bit and found the picture where Diane Ferrer is. Kasama niya sa larawan si Jella Ong. Nakangiti at mukhang gustong-gusto ang kausap kumpara sa pagtingin niya sa akin.

My phone beeped again and found Yumi's text.

Yumi:
You fine? Tanungin mo muna si Seven.

I cancel it and turn my phone off. Napahiga ako sa kama at napatingin sa kisame.

Jella Ong like Seven. I'm sure of that. Diane Ferrer looks like she like Jella Ong for Seven.

I know, Diane Ferrer don't know about my relationship to her son. But, the way she look at me, parang ayaw niya sa akin. Bakit? Dahil ba may ginawang mali si daddy?

Hindi pa sana mapuputol ang pag iisip ko nang bumukas ang pinto at nakita si John sa labas. Bumangon ako at tumayo.

"Bakit?"

Pakiramdam ko ay pagod na pagod ako.

"Your mom wants to talk to you. You need to come." aniya.

Tumango ako at sumunod sa kaniya. I close my eyes and let out a deep sigh before entering the office.

Naroon ang mga magulang ko. Tumingin ako kay John. Ngumiti lang siya at umalis na. Napailing ako saka pumasok. Siguro ay tapos na niyang kausapin si daddy tungkol sa kompanya.

Kung ano man ang napag usapan nila ay alam kong susulosyunan agad nila ang problema.

"Lia..."

I force myself to smile. "You want to talk to me?"

Umupo ako sa couch at tiningnan si daddy. Lumapit sa akin si mommy at masuyong hinaplos ang aking buhok.

"Nag dinner kana na ba?" my mom's sweet asked.

Umiling ako. Pagod na tumingin kay mommy. Umayos ako ng upo. I want to sleep. I want to rest.

"You will go to Italy before your graduation. You won't join the ceremony, I already told your teachers about this. Kay Trevor ka tutuloy roon." dad trailed off and paused. "Doon ka na mag aaral sa college. Your flight will be Thursday."

My lips parted. Shock with the words I heard.

"W-what? Bakit dad? I'm fine here. Tsaka, bakit hindi ako sasali sa graduation?" Sunod-sunod na tanong ko. "May problema ba tayo?"

Dad close his eyes and sigh. "Trevor will take care of you there. Doon ka na mag cocollege. We need to do this, darling. I'm sure the Ferrer will make a move. We need to protect you."

"What?" hindi ko maintindihan ang sinabi ni daddy.

Hinawakan ni mommy ang kamay ko. "Our company is failing. We need to send you there dahil madami ang kaaway ng daddy mo sa business industry. Ngayong nalulugi tayo, they will make a move." mom said. "We want you safe. And also, the Ferrer, I know they are not satisfied with what we talk about. Ibabagsak nila ang kompanya."

"At bakit nila ibabagsak ang kompanya? We already pay them! Walang magtatangka sa buhay ko! I'm not moving." mariing wika ko.

Huminga ng malalim si daddy at galit na tumingin sa akin. "Huwag mo akong susuwayin, Lia! Aalis ka and that's final!"

Sinuklian ko din ang titig niya. "No, dad! I'm not going! Dito lang ako!"
