SPOILER WARNING FOR: Dayshift at Freddy's 3 ; "Evil Route" Ending.
(I'll be shifting this ending for it to be not as... terrifying, devastating, and shocking. I'm taking it into a whole other direction, but I'd advise you learn what happens during this ending before you read on, or it'll be confusing!)

----------

Dave led Jack to the last room of the tour of his old, worn down underground facility that he built many years ago.

Earlier on, Dave told Old Sport about his true identity, and more importantly, his real name: William Afton. Of course, Jack informed him of his as well, Jack Kennedy. Although when Jack was younger, he was betrayed by both William and Henry. But in all honesty, Henry was the mastermind behind the murder of his younger sister. He forgave William ever since they pulled off their first murder together... ironically.

As he finished up talking about the place, Will turned to Jack with a smile that quickly withered into a sorrowful frown.

"Sportsy... Listen. I-I need to apologize. I didn't give you any sort of choice about getting springlocked by that Fredbear suit you're wearin'. I... I manipulated you, my best friend, for my own selfish feelings... I didn't want to be immortal without you, Jack. I can't be without you, but I-"

Jack cut off William in the middle of his apology. "Willy, please. Don't be sorry for this..."

Will looked up at his friend in shock. "W-What? You... forgive me..?" Jack nodded, taking a small step closer to him. "Of course. William... I can't be without you, either. We're practically perfect... no, we are perfect for each other."

William gasped, "You believe that? Even after I betrayed ya like that... ya still see me as your best pal, Sportsy??"

"Yes, of course! How couldn't I? We've had each other's backs since the first day we met. We've done so much fucked up shit together, too. We understand each other... shit, we went to Vegas TWICE together! How could I leave that behind? I couldn't. I would never even try to throw away our memories like that."

William's expression turned into a bright, bashful grin as he listened.

"It's always been us on the run from the authorities. Together. Just the two of us... just me and you, Willy. The long, and apparently infinite journey of William and Jack. See? It's always been just the two of us."

Jack took in a deep breath and let out a long sigh. He gazed up at William. "Do you understand what I'm trying to say?"

Will didn't realize that it was more than just him accepting his apology. He coughed a little, becoming a bit anxious.

"Uhm... I don't think so? I'm really glad ya accepted my apology for that. I'm beyond flattered, old sport! I'm glad we feel the same way about each other! It has been just me and you, together forever! We're family!"

Jack took a moment to gather his thoughts. He replied, "I've noticed how you always call us 'family', but I need to ask you something important," He paused briefly, and continued, "What do you mean by family? What specific bond is it? Do you consider us brothers? Or..."

The orange man choked a bit on his own words, his nerves getting to him for what he was dying to ask his partner in crime.

"...William, I want to make our bond official."

Will froze. Thoughts started racing through his head, "What does he mean by our bond? I mean, in all honesty, it's definitely more than a brother-to-brother bond... but that's just how I've always wanted it to be. I don't wanna just up and try to make him love me... that's controlling, that's a terrible thing to do. I don't think he feels the same. Yeah we flirt sometimes, even cuddle as homies... but I don't think he realizes that I want it to be more than us being best buds. Hell yeah, keeping these feelings in for years has been mentally painful to say the least, but I don't wanna risk loosing the best person I've ever met."

The purple man finally managed to stutter out a response, "What do you mean, Jack..? I mean, uh... I wouldn't exactly describe it like a sibling bond, no. B-But I don't wanna come off as a weird friend or anything, y-y'know? I don't think you feel the same kinda way that I do-"

"I love you, William. I have for a very long time." Jack took another deep breath. "I don't care if you're apparently 'heartless', because from all the support, care, and love that I've received from you... I know you have some form of a heart somewhere in you."

William's heart skipped a beat. He stepped close to the other man, taking him by his hands and holding them both tightly.

"Jack, I love you more than anything on this goddamned planet. I have also had these feelings for a very long time." William smiled genuinely behind his decaying rabbit suit, but from their close distance, Jack could see it, and smiled back.

"You have made me one of the happiest motherfuckers to ever exist, old sport! Ya mean the absolute world to me! You, Jack, have made me feel whole... you've cared for me, and have always been here for me to love and support me."

A few tears begun to roll out of Will's eyes as he continued to speak, "Ever since you came into my life, you've shown me that you don't care about what I've done. You care about me, as a person. Sportsy, you've helped me feel whole again. You've fixed me up from the ground-up. You accept me for who I am, and still continue to love and take care of me, no matter what happens."

The two men pulled each other in for a big, tight hug. Will spoke up again, "The fact that you're still here for me shows how much ya care about me, old sport... which is equivalent to our life spans, actually! They're both eternal, it seems." He chuckled lightly.

Their embrace felt like it lasted for hours upon hours, of course they both didn't mind that. Jack eventually pulled away and stepped back.

"Well, I unfortunately don't have any sort of item to do this." He scratched the back of his neck nervously, "But, this is long past due..."

The orange-skinned man slowly got down on one knee below William, who's eyes widened in preparation for the question that followed.

"...William Afton," Jack held out his hand for the other to take, "Will you marry me?"
Will grabbed Jack's hand and pulled him off of his knee. He swiftly picked him up and spun him around in true happiness. He repeatedly chanted, "Yes! Yes yes! Yes of course, old sport!! Yes!"

They spun around in the darkness together, laughing and crying tears of joy. William slowed down and stopped spiraling them around. He put his partner back down on his two feet, and pulled him into another long-lasting embrace.

Jack whispered into his ear, "I love you, William... forever and always."

William pulled away slightly, looking into his husband's eyes. "I love you too, Jack."

They both leaned in, and their lips met. Their bond is now official.

William Afton and Jack Kennedy, happily engaged. Actually, consider them married. They can't put together much of a wedding ceremony... but in their minds, this was their ceremony. The two springlocked men, fingers and lips intertwining with one another's.

They're happily married for eternity.
