Unexpected Love

Background I

PLOT REFRESHER: Min Soona (You) decided to go for a night out.. and you see the person you'd least expect to be at a bar...  Jung Hoseok. He was your closest friend in highschool but now you were one of his managers. Hoseok was in the famous group, BTS and you hadn't had an actual conversation with him in what seemed like forever. Was this your chance to gain your friendship with Hoseok back after highschool  years ago? Or will he ghost you? Or possibly.... will the topic of love arise?

It all started in your freshman year of highschool...
flashback to 6 years ago....

"hoseok! it's so nice to finally meet you in person!" you exclaimed, and the boy smiled at you with a caring look on his face. you already felt a sense of safety around him.
You had talked with him in eighth grade in middle school, and he was a freshman himself last school year.

Hoseok showed you around campus on your first day, smiling every now and then, as you would look at him admiring his beauty, with it turning into eye contact which you quickly looked away from. Throughout your high-school years, you hung out with him everyday, even when one of you couldn't make it to school. But that all changed one night. All those feelings turned into horrible memories.

You liked him. You liked him since the day you finally had met him in person. You decided to confess.

"Hoseok!!" you called out to him with a grin, when you saw him after-school.

"Yes (Name)?" Hoseok asked while putting water he had just taken a sip of back into his bag, taking out his phone.

"Can we hangout tonight?" you begged with a cute facial expression which he could never say no to in all the years he knew you.

"Sorry, but i was planning on hanging out with my hyungs... Jin and Namjoon" he sighed,
"maybe next time (Name)." Hoseok added firmly.

You blinked in confusion as you were hurt.
"But Hoseok-"

"I said no." he said in a cold tone.

"But it's really important to where I would be willing to hang out with Jin and Namjoon too, I need to say something..." You said with glossy eyes.

"Fine, but only because I love you," Hoseok said, but you guys had always said that in a friend way, so why were you suddenly feeling butterflies in your stomach? You shook your head to stop thinking those thoughts.

"Thank you!" you said satisfied and walked home with Hoseok without telling him you wanted to in advance, but he was used to it. His house felt like a second home to you, so you were comfortable in it.

Hoseok ignored you the whole time.
"ugh! what is his deal?" you thought to yourself while making your way to the bathroom to change to your nice going out outfit.

His POV:
"I know this will lead me into losing her if i date her." is the sentence that repeats everyday to me in my mind.

When (Name) came out of the bathroom dressed all nice, I suddenly wanted to not go outside at all. I knew she would probably ask me out, but i don't want to hurt her.

LATER ON THAT NIGHT....
Your POV:
You asked Hoseok if you two could speak to each other  in private, and he nodded in agreement.

"Hoseok, what i'm going to tell you is something i've been hiding for the longest-"

"You like me." Hoseok said, cutting you off, and your eyes widened.

"How'd you k-"

"It's obvious (Name), And i don't want to hurt you. I'm sorry but I can't date you, i don't like you whatsoever." Hoseok cut you off again, and stared at you with a cold expression.

His POV: I lied. I don't want to lose her completely. I love her. I think i may like her more than she likes me. I left the building.
