Bailey sighed as she walked into her last class

"Hey, I heard you're moving with your mom" a random girl said to bailey and she nodded "yea" bailey said "I know we didn't really talk but you're pretty cool and I'll miss you" the girl said and bailey smiled "thanks, I'll miss you too" bailey said and walked to her desk

A few minutes later Dustin walked in and sat next to her "what took you long? It was so awkward, and I was scared" bailey said "sorry, quick trip to the boys room" he said and bailey nodded "sorry, I'm just scared of being alone now" she said "it's fine, I probably would feel the same if I was going through the same thing" Dustin said and she nodded

Bailey didn't pay attention to the teacher

She stared off at the window thinking of leaving Dustin

She's gonna miss him

But she was going back to the nostalgic basement that she was first in, where it all had begun

She was nervous to be by herself when mike went to school but she wanted to be safe

"Bailey" Dustin said and she looked at the boy "come on, schools out" Dustin said and she looked at him "that fast?" She asked "you blanked out for half of it" Dustin said as bailey grabbed her backpack off the ground and they walked out of the classroom

They walked out to the front bailey sat there  paranoid looking around her "it's fine bails" Dustin said "I can't be out here any longer, brenner threatened me, he said that if I escaped he would hunt me down and find me" she said "it's fine, the party will be here in a minute and then we can go" Dustin said and bailey hugged her arms

"I'm gonna panic" she said started breathing rapidly and Dustin looked at the girl "holy shit, I think you get panic attacks" Dustin said while dropping his bike by his side and held the girls shoulders

"Breathe" Dustin said and she wasn't calming down "bailey you're safe" he said and she nodded and tried breathing slow

"What's wrong with bailey?" Max asked "she's having a panic attack" he said and max held her hand "about what?" Lucas asked with worry "waiting for you guys, she was paranoid about brenner-wheres mike?" Dustin said then asked once he saw his missing

"We don't know" max said while hugging her best friend

"He's right there" lucas said and their head all followed to where Lucas pointed indicating where mike was

Mike came up to the group and they were ready to go

"Let's go before bailey gets more paranoid" Dustin said "huh?" Mike said confusingly "bailey had a panic attack, she was and probably is paranoid so let's go" max said and the boys nodded

Bailey looked around as she got on the back of mikes bike

She wrapped her arms on tightly and mike started riding his bike

"I'm sorry for not being there to help you recover" mike said that the girl "it's fine, I didn't even know I get panic attacks" Bailey said "but now we all know" mike said and she nodded "is that embarrassing?" She asked "no, it's not, anyone can get them" mike said and the girl nodded "good, I didn't want to feel like more of a freak" she said and mike furrowed his eyebrows

"A freak? Your not a freak, your a girl with cool powers-anyone would kill to have powers" mike said and bailey smiled "they won't after they find out that they can possibly get killed" bailey said "but you didn't, you make it look easy" he said "el makes it look easy, I make it look pathetic and stupid, I barely even know how to use them" bailey said "stop putting yourself down bails, your good at what you do" mike said "thank you, I'm sorry" she said and sighed "bailey, stop saying you're sorry" mike said "sor-okay" she said

The word sorry seemed to slip out the girls mouth a lot

It was a habit of hers

She couldn't help it

"Is using your powers one of your insecurities?" Mike asked the girl "whats an insecurities?" She asked "insecure, like a lack of confidence, something you're not confident about" mike explained and she nodded "yes, I know its bad but I can't help it" bailey said "I'll help you get over it, just relax and love what you do, you know what you do is a really good thing and they make you even more cooler than you already were" mike said and bailey pouted out of happiness "thank you, you're a great person mike" bailey said

Bailey laid on the couch in the basement as mike came downstairs with their snack

"I miss school" bailey said "you know, you're probably the first person I heard say that in my lifetime" mike said and bailey laughed

"So mike, tell me about the girl you like" bailey said while drinking her orange juice

"Um-well we just got close not too long ago, her favorite color is lavender, she loves starcourt mall, one of her close friends told me she loves Madonna so I'm going to surprise her with a radio and a Madonna mixtape" mike explained and bailey swallowed; suddenly wishing she had never brought this conversation up

"Well she's a lucky girl" bailey put up a fake smile "Yea, she's really nice, and pretty" mike said and bailey nodded along with the boy

"So I guess I should start on homework" mike said while grabbing his backpack

"Oh, ok" bailey said and mike took his things out and placed them on the table "im not leaving, that'll be rude" mike said "no, you could leave if you want, it won't be rude to me" she said "no, I'll just keep you company, plus there's no one in the house" mike said and the girl nodded

She laid back in the couch while eating her chips and salsa

She felt nostalgic, she thought of hopper while eating the combination, it was their favorite to eat while watching a movie

"Hey mike?" She said "Yea, bails?" He asked "some girls invited me to go see the goonies with them on Sunday, would you come with me?" She asked "Yea" he said "i kind of shouldn't go, because boundaries-but Sunday would be my last day out, I promise" bailey said "sounds like a plan" mike said and the girl smiled and starting eating her chips again
