<38> Hajime x Despair!Reader x Nagito

(Y/N) silently thought inside her mind, and focused on the nothingness again.

"(Y/N)! I looked everywhere for you! I mean, the hand book says you were inside your room... but, I didn't see you!" Hajime said as he approaches you. You were inside the restaurant, eating your food. "Well... I forgot my hand book inside my dorm... I guess..." (Y/N) said, and took another bite of their food.

"Ah... alright... then..." Hajime sweat dropped, and sat next to them. "So, the party's tonight... I don't really want to go..." (Y/N) frowned. "Why is Byakuya so strict, though? I mean... can't we just enjoy ourselves...?"

"I think that Byakuya just want us to forget about this Killing Game, besides, Byakuya is a guy who knows what he's doing anyway!" Hajime smiled at (Y/N). But then, they mumbled something that Hajime couldn't hear, but he doesn't want to push them anyway.

But... I'll forget how despair feels like... how hopeful... somebody have to die in that party... or else...

(Y/N) stopped their train of thoughts, and continued eating their food.

And things eventually happens. Byakuya Togami is dead, and everyone is in a panic right now. They're all despair filled. How despairful! My wish came true? Oh, so everyone knows how it felt like! It's amazing, right?

(Y/N) smiled a sincere one while looking at the corpse, but then returned to a straight line, avoiding anyone seeing.

"(Y/N)? Are you alright?" Hajime asked while walking to (Y/N). "N-No! This all happened to sudden! Wh-Why must someone die?!" (Y/N) cried after seeing what's before them. But Hajime brought it, and comforted them.

"It'll be alright, (Y/N), we just need to investigate!" (Y/N) nodded, and they both come to investigate the crime scene.

"So... Nagito is the culprit after all?" Whispers could be heard inside the trial room, making (Y/N) wanted to snap more than she ever wanted. If Nagito can just always ramble about hope, then they'd be fine if I ramble about despair, right?

"Why..." (Y/N) suddenly spoke up, making all of the intention turn to them. "Why must we all do this? I mean, getting executed isn't that bad, right? We'll be all filled with despair! And... despair is a good thing!" (Y/N) then laughed, making everyone that is still alive in this class trial uneasy.

"Oh, I just want to be the most despairing person in the world, just brings despair to others make me feel great!" (Y/N) laughed. "S-Stop it, you freak!" Fuyuhiko shouted. "Freak, huh? Of course I am! Well, I suggest we all just give up and get executed, we don't need any more mystery solving here, don't we?"

"(Y/N)... stop it... you're making everyone uncomfortable here..." Hajime said. "You're the one who makes everyone uncomfortable, Hinata! You all kept rambling about whatever shit you want, and accusing people for no reason!" You shouted.

"Puhuhu~ I do want this to keep up, but (Y/N), you're being too annoying to everyone, we have to focus on the real target here!" Monokuma said, and you stayed silent.

"Wow, (Y/N)! I didn't know that you were that despairful! I guess there's a lot I need to fix from you, huh?" Nagito laughed. "Ugh, just shut up you all! We still have a fucking class trial to do!" Fuyuhiko shouted, and Hajime nods.

The class trial kept going, until we found the real culprit, Teruteru. Nobody likes him, but seeing his death isn't really good anyway. Some students felt sick, but some stayed calm.

After the Trial, Hajime walked up to (Y/N). "Hey, (Y/N)... are you feeling alright...?" Hajime asked, concerned about the person that he likes. "Of course that I'm fine! But did you see that? Teruteru's execution was so despairful! It was so great!" (Y/N) cheered as they looked into Hajime's eye. "But of course peasants like you wouldn't understand how despair is so great... so have a nice life, Hinata."

As (Y/N) said, they walked away, and left Hajime. He sighed, and walked back to his cottage.

"Huh? Why'd you invite me? I mean, it's your job!" (Y/N) said as they're pretty confused by the scene. "Please, (L/N)! Nagito is really weird, and I don't want to go alone!" Hajime begged, and (Y/N) shrugged. "Whatever, seeing you having that despairing face, that means you hate him so much, huh?"

Hajime nodded, and (Y/N) finally decided to follow him to the old building.

At there, they found Nagito got tied up. But (Y/N) was quite unhappy by this. Because Nagito's lip still have that smile. It's disgusting. (Y/N) thought.

"Ah! The hopeful Hajime and the despairful (Y/N) has came for me! How lucky I am!" Nagito smiled, and Hajime looked at him in disgust.

They both kneed down to the boy, and (Y/N) help him sit up. "Your situation is quite rather despairing... but you're still keeping that hopeful smile?" (Y/N) asked. "I already told you, (Y/N)! Being in despair will be the last thing I'd ever do!" Nagito chuckled as Hajime rolled his eyes.

"Hey, (Y/N)! I'm still surprised by how you snapped in front of the hopeful students!" Nagito said, as he was fed of another piece of toast. "You snapped like them too, you know?" Hajime said in a disgusted tone.

"Haha! I'm just wondering!" Nagito laughed. "I'm insecure, so that's why..." (Y/N) said. "So yeah, you two should stop discuss about me, and just eat, Nagito."

"You should stop being so tainted by despair, (Y/N)!" Nagito smirked. "Yeah, sure." "Well, despair isn't a good thing, so I guess that Komaeda is right..." Hajime said. "Nagito, Hajime... can you stop, and just leave me alone?" (Y/N) asked.

The two boys nodded, and (Y/N) walked out of the old building.

"So... I see you wanted (Y/N), too, right?" Nagito asked, looking at the brunette. "Well, do you? Listen, Komaeda, she'll choosing me instead of a hope sick like you." Hajime said as he point his finger at Nagito. "But! I'm the only one who could stop her from thinking about despair! So it wouldn't help, Hinata!" Nagito smirked.

"We'll see, Nagito Komaeda."

I'm not sure how I'll end this shot, so yeah, have that ending.
