In a book I wrote... 2 of my characters have EXTREMELY similar names... Like their names use the same exact letters, but it's just typed differently (Tiana and Taina)

Now I'm no professional author or anything, BUT I do remember my characters first names (I'm bad with last names all the time, so this isn't about that)

That shit can't be that damn hard to remember

The characters names are usually like one of the first two things that you plan out

...Soooo how do you forget that???

In the introduction chapter you say the main characters are: Tabitha and Jacob. Each of them have siblings

Tabitha fam: Terry (dad) Tasha (mom) Tiffany (big sister) Tyson (little brother)

Jacob fam: George (dad) Maria (mom) Josh (big brother) Alice (big sister) Jacqueline (twin)

...ok, so now we know who the fam is there should be no confusion, right?

W R O N G !

by the time we get to chapter 12, Tyson is now Tyler... George is now James... Tasha is now Tracy... Alice is now Alyssa... And now Tabitha has a sister named Gabby (who was really her cousin at one point in the book)

You got some serious explaining to do... Cause a nigga real confused, are these their new names or nah???

Then some of y'all have the NERVE to be upset and make a whole 'rant' chapter after that fuckery talking bout "I need some more comments and votes on that last chapter before I post another one"

take yo ass back to chapter 12 and fix that bullshit... Hell we need some more clarification as to who ya damn characters are... We need that time of our lives - we took out our days to read that crap - back

Create a whole new family of characters and then think you deserve some more appreciation for that... Don't let Mama Dee or August boost ya head ...you don't deserve shit except a writer's workshop and less votes and comments
