Text talk in dialogues!!! This shit irritates me so mother fuckin bad. I just don't understand it. "OMG" is probably the only acceptable one

Example (I'm using a script format for this)

Girl: why you do her like that?

Boy: she a hoe, last I heard you can't turn a hoe into a housewife

Girl: Smh you didn't have to call her out like that tho

....bish whet???? I'm pretty sure he can see what the hell she doin wit her damn head... Lets revise it, shall we???

Revision! (still in script format)

Girl: why you do her like that?

Boy: she a hoe, last I heard you can't turn a hoe into a housewife

Girl: *shakes head* you didn't have to call her out like that tho

^^^ see??? We showed that an action was performed not said... Let's do another one

Example 2

Girlfriend: that ain't my main nigga, that's my bitch

Boyfriend: tf?

Girlfriend: Lol ily bae. I was just playing

...this is even worse than the first one ...smh, help the children ...if she laughing, I can guarantee you he knows

Revision!

Girlfriend: that ain't my main nigga, that's my bitch

Boyfriend: the fuck?

Girlfriend: *laughs* I love you bae. I was just playing

^^^ a whole lot better... This way there can be no misinterpretations on what you're making the characters say

I understand that text talk may be easier to type, and you can put out your chapters faster that way... I don't give a flying fuck, that shit irritates me to my soul.

If I see this shit in any story, whether I was asked to read it or not, I will stop reading ya book, and remove it from my library. I won't be able to give you any feedback because I won't know what the fuck to say other than:

"I didn't get past the first paragraph because character A who was standing next to character B said 'lol'"

Moral of the rant: If ya characters ain't texting don't use the shorthand way of saying shit... Especially if you ask me to read ya story

-P.S. don't ask for my opinion on ya story if you not expecting an honest opinion... How you take is not my problem, but I try not to come off too mean.
